Chapter 3- Preperation

Saturday:

Mrs. Pederson called my mom and I have detention Monday. Too bad I'm not going.

I finally figured out how I was gonna get out of school. Connor and Trevor are the only ones who want to start early. Monday I'm gonna be "sick". Then Tuesday I'll be pulled out early for a "doctor appointment" to make it in time for Ricky's date. And Friday I'm just not gonna show up.

I received and interesting and very big box this morning. And when I opened it there were 6 large black bags inside. Each labeled Monday through Friday. I was a bit afraid to open them by myself so I called Tracey over.

The doorbell rings and I head down stairs quickly. Tracey pushes past me and goes up the stairs as soon as I open the door. I run after her.

" Hey wait I wanna open them! "

She looks up at me holding the already half opened "Monday" bag.

" Oh fine "

I took the bag from her hands and continued unzipping it. Clothes. I looked at Tracey puzzled. She grabbed the "Tuesday" bag and opened it to reveal more clothes. Same with all the others.

Monday had I pair of blue jean shorts, a crop top, and some white keds.

Wednesday was legging and a big pale sweater.

Thursday was high waist shorts, a cropped white tee, and vans.

Friday was a simple pale pink dress and some sandals.

At the bottom of the box there was a note that read:

" Payton,

Thought this would be the easiest way for you to dress appropriately for the dates

-Ronnie"

I tried on every outfit excitedly, Tracey as my audience. They all fit perfect. My excitement rose slightly every hour I got closer to Monday.

I sent Tracey home and went to bed really early, wanting to get the day other with already.

Hey guys! I realize these chapters are short and boring and I'm sorry! But I promise once it gets into the dates the chapters will be much longer and with much more detail. Just hang in there!
