I stood there just looking at Lucas as he was looking at me, it felt like my feet were glued to the floor. I couldn't bring myself to look at Maya. I could feel every eye in the room on me, but I could only look at Lucas. I heard footsteps come from behind me as I got picked up and carried out if the hall leaving as I could hear Lucas calling my name. I blinked as all the tears I tried to keep in my eyes fall out.

My dad put me down outside looking me dead in the eyes with disappointment covering his face,

"Don't give me that look!"

"What look Riley? My face?!"

"The look of disappointment dad!"

"I can't help it Riley!"

I slipped past my dad taking off my heals running barefoot as far as my feet would take me!

Lucas//

I watched Riley's dad come up and carry her away as I called out her name letting the tears fall from my face. I tried to go after her as Farkle and Zay grabbed my wrists stopping me from going,

"She might get out if this but your not!"

"Oh yeah and what do you want me to say?!"

"Why?!"

I looked over at Maya as she was drying her eyes with the napkins that were left on the table,

"Why it she better than me?"

"I don't know, I really don't. I just need her!"

"More than you need me?"

"I think so yeah."

I moved both my wrists from Farkle and Zays grasp running down the hall as I heard Maya call out my name. I just had to find Riley. I had to make sure she was okay.

As I ran outside I bumped into Mr Matthews, his fists clenched shut, his face as red as a stop sign,

"Were do you think your going?"

"To find Riley!"

"No Lucas wait..."

"No Mr Matthews sir I need to go find her!"

"You know Lucas I never saw you as the kind of man who you cheat on a girl you love!"

"Even if I love the other girl more?"

I turned around to see Zay, Vanessa, Isadora and Farkle standing at the door as Maya struggled through them all,

"You love her? How can you love her you said that you loved me!"

"I'm sorry."

"Don't say that! If you were really that sorry non of this would of happened."

"I-i need to go find Riley!"

I turned on my feet running out of the school grounds while ripping off my tie and undoing the top button.

I ran as far ad my feet would take me then running some more. I went to the one place I knew she would be the look out.
I stood 50 yards away from her, even hear I could hear her crying, her heels on the ground along with her bag, her hands on the railing, the hair blowing in the wind. Her feet looked all bluddy and swollen. I put my hands on my hips while trying to catch my breath.

"Riley..."

She turned around reveling her tears stained face, her eye makeup half way down her cheek. She took on step forward letting her arms drop loose giving me a little smile while wiping her eyes.

"They all hate me don't they!?"

"I think on a scale of 1-10 they hate us both on the 10 scale."

"Why are you here? Not trying to win her back, saying your sorry."

"I needed to know if the girl I love is okay."

I grabbed her hands while a smile grew on both are faces, looking into her deep brown eyes I saw a sred of happiness with a lot of pain,

"You love me?"

"Yeah, yeah I do."

She placed her arms around around me neck pulling herself close so are nose touched while she had an ear to ear smile,

"Good, cause then that makes this next bit a lot less scary!"

I looked at her while raising my brow and giving a little smirky smile.

"I love you too Lucas Friar!!"

I tightened my grip around her body pulling her into a kiss, It wasn't like the kisses before this was full of happiness and love, not a sred of lust.

"So what happens now?"

"We can go to room 18 and just cuddle."

"Yeah, I'd like that."

I picked up Riley's shoes and purse while putting my arm around her body walking down the hill back to level land.
