Dave gazed into the small pixels on the computer screen. He sat in an ill lit room in darkness and solitude. Dave stayed in the room from 9-5 every day and left the building in silence.
Dave was surfing web cams for sights of terrorist activity. His eyes left him for the white sands and blue ocean on the Florida quays.
Bang
A crash in the other room and Dave came out of his day dream to realise he was still in boring old Langley falls.
He clicked to the next camera.
Nobody in sight.
Dave sighed as he continued his work.
The next image showed a couple holding hands and walking over the snowy mountains of Idaho.
Ha you wish.
Dave slumped in his chair and continued his sad escapade for the next six hours.
Home time.
Dave opened his office door, grabbed his coat and took the emergency exit out to the car park. Dave unlocked his beaten up Nissan and drove home.
Until tomorrow.
