Jade's POV

'Shit, shit, shit that was too close!!! God I need to be more careful what I talk about' I thought as I walked up to the door and allowed myself in, Immediately I heard whispering that was quickly hushed when they heard the door open, I peeked around the wall into the next room, Dave walked in behind me and went into the room, to be greeted by a shorter figure with black hair and slight bags under his eyes like he's been pushed to the point of breaking.

"WHAT THE FUCK STRIDER YOU DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME A SECOND LOOK AT THE PARTY!!!! NEXT THING I KNEW YOU WERE CHASING AFTER SOMEONE" the small one shouted into Dave's face, I recognised him which made me even more shy for some reason, I decided to stay behind the wall until I knew it was safe,

"Sorry dude," Dave said scratching the back of his neck, 'Ooops that was my fault wasn't it...they seem like such good-ish friends...I mean i would be a little bit upset if my friend left me that quickly...wait I don't have friends, im sur-' I snapped back to reality with a hand waving in front of my face, I look up to see the two have moved from the living room to me which scared me slightly I took a step back shrinking in size felling Dave's friend look me up and down.

"SO YOU'RE THE WIMP WHO LEFT THE PARTY HUH...WELL I DONT BLAME YOU DAVE'S FANS ARE BRUTAL" The friend shouted which made my ears ring, I hid my eyes under my bangs to hide my embarrassment, "IM KARKAT, KARKAT VANTAS NICE TOO MEET YOU" he stuck his hand out for me to shake, his confidence astonishing,

"Jade Harley" I said meekly and I shook his hand. Karkat turned back to Dave,

"SO AS I WAS SAYING, HAVE YOU SEEN THAT WITCH YOU WERE CHASING BEFORE YOU GOT YOUR HEAD CAUGHT IN YOUR ASS WITH THIS ONE?" He pointed towards me when he said that,

'The witch...IS HE TALKING ABOUT ME?!?!?! Shitshitshitshitshitshit! Are they really after me?!?!' I slowly took a step towards my room 'If they are after me I have to keep quiet'

"Sorry dude, I was kinda busy" Dave chuckled scratching the back of his head

"WELL YOU BETTER START LOOKING DIPSHIT OR YOU'RE GOING TO GET A CAN OF WHOOPASS FROM THE PR-" Dave Burst into tears of laughter "WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?" Karkat huffed

"Can of haha-Whoop ass- ahahahahah OMFG Ive never hear that saying!!" Dave whales in between heaves of breath, I looked at dave with a twisted face, I swiftly turned and headed towards my room and quietly closed the door behind me, leaning agienst lt I slid to the floor letting my head drop in between my knees

'What have I gotten myself into Bec?' I sighed 'Well now I guess my only option is to run...thats what Ive been doing the whole time anyways, this was all a big mistake anyways, well better get packing' I stood and walked over to the small pile of clothes that I was wearing when i came here. I slipped the dress over my head and placed it neatly on the bed brushing off the dirt that I could from the bottom of the dress. I put on my normal clothes and sat down on the bed and sighed, I could hear Karkats shouting from the other room and waited until he finally left. I got up and peeked my head through the door seeing dave massaging his temples sitting on the couch I walked over and sat beside him looking at his face from the side, I hesitantly placed a hand on his shoulder,

"You okay?" I said trying to comfort him from his what seemed to be stressful state of mind, he sighed and looked over at me

"Do you mind if you come into town with me I need to pick up some stuff and I would appreciate the company" he said with an apologetic smirk on his face

"Sure i'd be happy to" I said softly.

Well hi there long time so see ive kinda fallen out of the Homestuck fandom but im determined to finish this fanfic so you probably dont remember alot of the plot so I recommend skimming over it again to remind yourself of whats happening I know I had to do that and Im the author sooo yeah bleh bleh
