Chapter7:Defining Love!!

Meera's POV

I was waiting for Sukh in the class as usual!! and just when I saw her, I attacked her with questions.

"So,what's with you?? Did you bring any gift or wasted your money on canteen??" I chuckled

"Hey! I warn you! Don't you disrespect my love " food"." Sukh narrowed her eyes.

"Ya, okh!got it! Alright!" I mimicked her like her previous nights reply.

"I know what you are indicating, yes I have bought some choclates, as the flower shops at the morning!.... Ohk at 5:30 am,when I  lied and went for jogging.

She paused to see my reaction!

"They had flowers for puja(worshiping) and as you know Mr. Weirdo is not a deity! But they had roses but that too red, yes as guessed that might have been  too much!!" Sukh detailed me.

"What?? You went to buy flowers at morning?? That too at 5:30pm?? And went for jogging??" I felt like being a Martian, just from a different world.

"Yes, how could I tell my parents that I am going to buy flowers that too for a boy and yes who saved your daughter from nearly getting rusticated!" Sukh pouted.

Seeing me silent she sensed my other questions
"Ya, I know you want to know my parents reaction on jogging!"

" Both maa and Baba's jaws dropped in unison. Well they stayed in that position for some time. Until my mother came and hugged me. I could literally see tears on her eyes! Ofcourse of joy. And Baba was mumbling I am proud of you! The scene was exactly like those 80's film,and guess what I could hear the ting!ting! Classical background music!" Sukh was reviving the memory.

"I bursted out laughing, this friend of mine is truly crazy! Hahaaa" I laughed.
But now in unison. But wait why did it sounded like male laughing voices. Oopies! sukh and me in trouble. I could see Sukh making gulping sounds.

And as expected Shan and Aro were rolling on the floor!

I could sense what came next! I signalled them! Guys, volcanic eruption! Earthquake! Run! They were at once  on their heels! I was sure little delay, it might have been their last day on earth.

"Alright had enough air for your lungs? Now tell me should I thank him offering choclates?? are they? I mean OK??" Sukh enquired.

"Ya, BTW how many did you buy?" I asked

"5 of them" she showed the packet

"Wait why are there only 2?? You said 5 na???" I enquired

"Yes, actually what happened na, when I bought them my brain suggested to taste them! Whether the flavour was you know good? But I didn't get the exact taste as you now toothpaste essence was still lingering in my mouth! So I tasted another one and then my taste bud took control of my mind...."

I completed her sentence
"And there goes the third one!" I giggled.

Again I heard the echo in unison. "Oooho boys you're in trouble!" And before I could complete my sentence Sukh was running after them.

Hahaaa "this friends of mine are seriously crazy but I love them!" I giggled on my thought.

But what had caught my interest was Sukhs feeling towards Aditya. I could see the shine in her eyes while mentioning him and her facial glow that was cherry like.

"Hmm I can smell cooking of a love story!!" I chuckled.
