Imagine: getting aidan to stop drinking

You walked down stairs to see Aidan sitting on the lounge with a bottle of alcohol on the table, a drink in his hand while he did the paper work for work so you sighed and walked down to him. When you got to him you saw that he was about to take a drink from his drink so you picked it up and paced to only feel yourself take the drink and to only hear him say

"Hey give it back"

"No"

"Come on babe give it back"

With that he reached out his hand for if but you stepped back to only hear yourself say

"No"

"Why not"

"Because I want you to stop"

"I will if you give it back to me"

"No I'm not giving it back to you"

"Please babe"

"No I want you to stop"

"Why"

As he said that you picked up the bottle and walked to the kitchen and tipped it out to only hear yourself say

"Because it's ruining your liver and you and I don't want to see you die on me please babe"

"I'm not gonna die"

"Yes you are Aidan, my father died by alcohol"

With that you the bottle on the bench to only hear him say

"I'm sorry babe I didn't know that but I'm not like your father I know when to stop"

With that you laughed and said

"Haha my father said the same thing then three bottles later he was on his bed dead"

With that you felt a tear roll down your face so you looked at him to only hear yourself say

"And I don't want that to happen to you, I don't want to see you leave me so please babe for me stop drinking and if you I'll stop as well"

"You promise"

"Yes"

With that he walked up to you and pulled you in a hug so you hugged back to only feel him rub your back so you hugged him tighter to only hear him say

"Ok I'll stop"

With that you kissed his chest to only feel him kiss your head so you smiled and said

"Thank you babe"

With that you just stayed like that holding each other wishing this moment would last forever while wishing your father never died.
