Say Mr. McCartney,

Do you see what I see?

A cute little box,

Underneath the tree.

Oh my, oh my,

What it could be?

Say Mr. McCartney,

Will you open it for me?

The box moves,

I wonder why it does.

Shall it be alive

And start making a fuss?

Say Mr. McCartney,

Let us come closer and see.

It walks alone by itself,

It seems coming to get me.

Say Mr. McCartney,

What shall we do?

Could it be a little monster,

Out here to get we two?

Alas, it barks,

Out of the box it goes.

Not a lil' monster it is,

Not even a foe.

Say Mr. McCartney,

What a cute pup it is!

Black, white and pepper,

Are on its wool-like fur.

It wags its tail happily,

Boy how adorable it is dearly.

But say Mr. McCartney,

What shall we call it maybe?

Martha the name shall be,

Martha because it is a she!

You, and Martha and me,

Happy together now are we!
