Joe Slavengar heaved a huge sigh of relief as soon as the car door slammed shut. His side had won. Had it not been for Mr. Kape's slip up when he said he wanted to kill the President's abductors, their side probably wouldn't have won. Mr. Kape was an extremely powerful man. He knew that he had taken advantage of Mr. Kape's slip up. His somewhat heroic statement had won the cabinet over.
