PART ONE: Who would have thought?

My name is Shaine. I am 13 years old, and I am rain. Funny right? My name rhymes with rain. It wasn't supposed to.  I was never supposed to be the way I am today. Aria my best friend is just like me. But you would never guess. Cade, he is like us too. So is his twin brother Aiden.

Its an odd phenomena if you ask me. Four teenagers with "special" gifts, that is.  If you haven't noticed by now, but who ever really does?, our names relate some how to our natural habits. If one could call them habits.

Aria is like our mom, since none of us have parents. Aiden gave her the fantastic name Mother Earth one time, after she yelled at him for getting an F on a math test. But it was a great nickname for her because she is earth. Well nature, not the planet.  She dresses like a hippie too :).  You can always find her in her favorite pair of old blue jeans and one of her many "Save the Earth"  t-shirts. She has a beautiful tan skin tone and deep ckhocolatte eyes to match her think wavy brown hair. She stands 5"4 and always wears a pair of wallabies or sparries on her feet.  

Aiden, he's the baby of our group. Cade and him are very different personality wise, but in looks they are fairly similar. Aiden looks more like Aria, you could say he is very Taylor Lautner chic :). He is 5"8 and tan and very well built. He is the hothead, literally. Aiden is fire, his temper is one of the only things he can't control. His hair is a deep ckhocolatte brown and is a nice short length that has all the girls swooning when he flips it to the side.  

Cade, he is my Co-captain.  We make the decision for our "family" together. He is wind. When you put him next to his brother you could see the few features they have in common, like their beautiful Silver eyes that have gold specks in them. But Cade has dirty blonde hair, and has two shades lighter skin then Aiden. He has muscles more like lucas till and is 5"8 as well.

What about me you ask? Well l am rain. Yeah I know not much, but I have light blonde hair and not tan at all. Bright light blue eyes with a dark blue outer rimming to them. I am always in dresses. Not legit ball room gowns but nice length dresses from urban outfitters. My hair is odd, it has a mind of its own. It doesn't want to be curly and it doesn't want to be wavy, so I just straighten it everyday. You would think that this would kill my hair, but my "skill" keeps it nice and moist, not to mention soft and shiny.

"SHAINE" Aria called in her sing-song voice "COMMON I WANNA EAT!" I bounded down the stairs of our lovely mansion. How do four kids get the money for a mansion you ask? Well its mine, my mom left it to me in her will.

We were rich... my mom left me with tons of money. Plus staff that help us our with cooking and cleaning and driving us places, like school for instance. I smoothed down my dress

and went to the dinning room were Cade, Aiden, and Aria were. They all took their places at the table. I sat next to Cade, and across from Aria. Aiden and Aria sorta had a thing for each other, though they never would admit it. So Cade and I? Nope not a spark. The servers came in with plates of pancakes, sausages, eggs, and bacon With pitchers of orange juice and apple juice. We all dug in.

The breakfast meal conversation was light, I was turned in my seat talking to Cade while Aria and Aiden flirted with each other. "Thats a pretty dress." Cade said "Is it new?" I automatically looked down as if I didn't remember what I had put on an hour ago. "Oh yeah, new to my closet that is. I found it in my mom's room." With a note that said to wear it today I almost added, but Cade would freak. He always was scared when my mom was leaving me stuff, but I had no idea why? She left it to me before she was killed. "I like it on you." he finished and turned back to his food. Cade was always vague when he talked about fashion and clothes, none the less I was glade to receive this complement, some how I think it made my day. No, I don't like Cade like that, it just made me feel good that someone who isn't gay or a girl (hint hint a straight guy) thought that I looked pretty in what I was wearing. I turned from him with a big smile on my face. My plate was empty, I gotta say I love food. Its surprising how I am still a slender 5'5 girl :). "Hey Shainey I need to grab my bag can you come with me?" Aria asked me with another sing-song voice. She got up and walked out the door knowing that I would fallow her.

We grabbed the bags that were hanging up on the hooks in the hall way leading to the outside pool and side door. "Hey Shaine, do you umm think it be weird if Aiden and I yeah know..." she trailed off. "Dated? Of course not! Honey by all means date him please!" she looked at me questionably "But Shaine we live together" oh she was worried about what the people at school would think. "So? Who cares?" poor girl, now I know what she means, every time she walked down the school hall ways people would fallow her with whispers and sneers like "There's the school ho, she and Aiden live together, I would NEVER do that." We go to a rich private school, and people already look down on Aria because of the way she choses to dress. Aria is really pretty though and almost every guy wants her at our school, so maybe all the girls would just be jealous if Aiden was taking by every guy's dream girl. "SHAINE, ARIA WHATS TAKING SO LONG?!" Aiden yelled from the front steps of our house. "COMING!" we yelled and then burst into fits of giggles. Aiden was always so impatient.
