Chapter 24: Gender Reveal

Bibiana's POV:
(4 months later)
~1pm~
I'm on the couch in sweats & one of Nate's shirt
I rub my belly which is getting bigger every single day
I'm going to Dr.'s today at 3pm with Nate
I get to find out if I'm having a boy or a girl
I get up to grab some water
I drink it & Nate comes in smiling
"Hey boothang" I say
"Hi lil mama" he says & kisses my cheek
"So are you coming with me today?" I say referring to our appointment
"Of course baby" he says
He brushes his fingers against my cheek
I giggle & hold his hand
Which is so soft
"What time is it again?"
"It's for 3pm"
"It's 2pm" Nate says
"So I'll get dressed.." I say
"Wait.." He says
"I got something..you see I wanted to throw a gender reveal party..since Leah & Sam are my gonna be there" he says
"So we're gonna announce what the baby is when?" I say
"How about tomorrow?" He says smiling
"What if they ask?"
"Don't bring any of it up" he says simply
I smile
"Alright.."
"Now let's go get dressed" he says helping me up the stairs
Since it's hard to walk up them with a huge belly on you...
~after a while~
I'm at the Doctors
I'm sitting down when the nurse says
"Bibiana Maloley?"
I smile & stand up
I walk inside with Nate
The doctor says
"Hello Bibiana..I'm Dr. Bailey"
I shake her hand
"Hello"
"We're gonna do some sonograms to check on the baby & maybe find out of y'all having a princess or a prince okay?" I nod & hold Nate's hand
~during the sonogram~
She put jelly on my belly & puts mini metal thing on my belly
It reads the baby
Showing it on the screen
She smiles as I see my baby
It's growing so fast
I see little feet & arms
"Wanna know what gender it is?" She asks
Me & Nate look at each other
"Yes" we both say
"It's a boy"
We smile & Nate giggles
"Omg a little bud" he says
"Baby I'm so happy" I say smiling
~8pm~
It's time for the gender reveal party.
I'm dressed up in a blue dress

I sigh as I look at myself in the mirror
Nate adjusts my sunflower flower crown
"Baby you look beautiful" he says & kisses my cheek
"Idk Nate I look so huge" I say
"You always look beautiful to me in my eyes" he says
I smile & he grabs my hand
We walk downstairs & Kaleah who was already dressed
Was wearing pink

What we're doing & the guests are gonna do
Is that they wear the color they think the gender is
Sam & Kaleah are wearing Pink
I'm wearing blue since obviously I know the gender
Nate's wearing blue
~during the party~
~9pm~
The big reveal was only a hour away
Everyone was partying
I walked to the kitchen & saw Nicolas with his new gf Kimberly
They were kissing & I cringe
"Really here?" I say
He blushes
"Sorry sis"
"Hennessy could walk in anything" I say giggling
I see tiny feet run towards me
"Speaking of her.." I say
"Sissy!" Hennessy screams
"Henny!" I say lifting her up
I carry her around
"Is my little nephew or little niece in there?" She says pointing to my belly
"Yes Hun" I say smiling
~a hour later~
Here it is...
Me & Nate crowd around a table there's two boxes on each side & a cake on the table
Nate hands me the knife
I slowly cut into it
Henny yells
"Don't hurt yourself sissy!" She yells
I pull out the slice I cut & show the color
It's blue.
Everyone goes crazy cheering
The boxes fly open & blue balloons come out of them
Leah & Sam hug me while Hennessy hugs me also
"A little nephew!" She yells
"Yes baby" I say smiling playing with her fingers
She rubs my belly
"Hi nephew it's me..I'm your auntie..I love youuuuu" she says & kisses my belly
I giggle & Nate lifts her up & she squeals & kisses her making her laugh
I'm so glad I have such amazing people around me..
Swazz hugs me & rubs my belly
"Can I hold him after he's born?" He asks
"After Nate" I say smiling
"Yay!" He says
I'm so blessed to have these people in my life...
Well...looks like I'm gonna have a baby boy💙....
"I got all I need..when I got you & I...I look around me & see a sweet light..I'm stuck in the dark but your my flashlight..your getting me..getting me through the night..."
