Chapter 18 [An Old Friend Part 2]

"Severus, my boy, do you have the veritaserum?" Albus asked, his blue eyes twinkling, Severus rolled his eyes, Dino hid in the shadows like she always did, it was just how she wanted it, as soon as he pulled the vial from his robe pocket Jasper wailed loudly showing he had woken from his nap that Albus had put him down for, he was 11 months old now, he was mumbling words but had not made a full one yet, it was always random baby noises, often Severus and Dino argued about what his first word would be, but they didn't care as long as he said something, they had also taught him how to walk, he fell sometimes but he was only one year old, Albus trudged back up the stairs as the door opened, he went to get young Jasper, Severus turned his emotionless scowl to the two people who had so freely walked in, his eyes landed on the red hair of his childhood, his ex best friend, he had called her a mudblood and he didn't mean it, so many times he had tried to apologise but she wouldn't hear it, he stiffened, was this some kind of sick joke?
"Snivellus! Still greasy i see, how about a hex for old times sake!" James chuckled, he was still an evil little shit, James whipped out his wand and held it up to Severus, he was just about to hex him, Severus smirked and to be honest, he didn't care, James narrowed his eyes shocked that Severus was like this, until he felt it, Dino emerged from the shadows, wand in hand, she hated seeing someone hurt her husband, and thats one thing she was crazy about, she pushed her wand into his neck and sneered
"Id be very careful with your next move Potter, i might just put you back into that grave myself" she spoke in calm anger, she hated that this man could just walk in here and try to hurt Severus, while Severus smiled at his wife
"Better keep a leash on your man Evans, make sure he doesn't go attacking mine, because i swear, if i find as much as one hair out of place on his head ill know it was him, only a Potter is stupid enough to mess with him" Dino threatened, they were all unaware that the old man had brought the young child down stairs
"Just as psycho as him" James sneered in anger
"No, no, I'm worse than him, and as i recall it, you were the one who hexed him most of his childhood, not the other way around" she spat back into his face, she was fuming
"Watch your mouth you bi-" he got cut off with the small voice of a little baby
"Dada!" James looked to the small boy stumbling over to Severus, he smiled and cradled his son
"Great, baby Snivellus" James scoffed
"Not in front of my son, you evil sadistic demon" she spat, Severus didn't even bother looking over at Lily, he was happy with his life now, he wasn't going to worry about not being her friend, he had Dino and Jasper, and thats all he needed
"Severus, can we talk?" Lily's small voice asked from beside James, James hated the fact that Lily ever associated with him
"So you can tell me how much of a coward i am? To tell me that even though you're back were still not going to be friends? Well you can save it Lily, i don't want to hear it" Severus simply replied, he didn't need his heart broken anymore, he wouldn't be able to stand it anymore, he turned his gaze back to Albus
"I just want to say tha-" Severus cut her off, he raised his hand
"You have your potion, my wife, my son and myself will take our leave, if you need anything you know where to find us" Severus pulled his wife to him and held his son closely and stormed off, Dino had tea scheduled with Minerva so she had to leave
"Hey love, I've got tea scheduled with Minerva, ill be back in about half an hour, i love you" she kissed his lips quickly and skipped off down the hall
"I love you to" Severus whispered after her with a smile, she had come a long way since she started, and he was truly, madly, deeply proud and in love with her.

She had encountered a student on the way, the orange hair stood out from the crowd of people in the hall
"Mrs Snape?" One of the two who looked a like asked, he was Fred, Fred had a freckle on his neck and George didn't
"Yes?" She asked as she came to a sudden stop and glanced back at them
"Wheres professor Dumbledore? We wanted to see him but professor McGonagall said he was busy" the other, George asked, they always had a knack for finishing each others sentences
"He's extremely busy, like myself, i must be going" she nodded and rushed off.

She sat down and smiled at Minerva, the old witch and the young one had understanding ever since Dino had stopped Beth from getting hurt by Karkaroff, even though she was a Slytherin
"So, how is Severus? Is he as brilliant a father as Albus says?" She asked starting conversation, Dino took a quick sip from her coffee and nodded
"Very, the other day i caught him reading to him, he was making cute baby noises, it was so adorable, and he's probably going to have my head for saying that" they both laughed in joy, they became friends, they trusted each other, but she was a death eater, she would crumble if anyone besides Albus knew
"How did he cope with Lily and James?" She asked suddenly concerned, Dino sighed
"I wouldn't worry about him hexing James, id worry about me hexing James, he was lucky my son didn't see him trying to hurt his father, i would've put him back in that grave myself, sounds horrible i know, but Severus did nothing wrong" she explained, she was down right furious at Potter, he's arrogant and disrespectful.

So, this is chapter two, i know, i know, it doesn't seem right to have them back in a Severus Snape fanfic but i just couldn't resist, i love Lily, i ship Snily, also, someone come up with a ship name for Dino and Severus, ill dedicate next chapter to whoever comes up with the best one, also, no, Severus and Lily will never be an item, they're both married and have children, and plus, i highly doubt Harry would be pleased to have Severus as his stepdad. 

Ok, so i realised you don't know anything about me, well, i go by the name of Prince Sevy, i am a 17 year old girl, i love art and i love singing and writing poetry and songs, i love animals, and I'm slightly crazy... My family seem to think i am overly obsessed with Alan Rickman... They're probably right, i am currently writing my own book, it has not been published on here, i write fanfics to clear my head and you know, to have fun, i love jokes and playing pranks, i also love dark sarcasm, I'm funny, i mean, I'm comedic funny but i don't google jokes, they just come naturally, never a dull moment in my household... My family and myself are going to be making a youtube series called 'The Burbank' it will be about what my family gets up to when were drunk, the best things happen when were drunk, ill let you guys know when thats up and ready to view.
