Years had passed by quickly after the death of her father it seemed. With all the work she had to do, ordered around by her step mother and sisters. Cindy was almost eighteen and had grown into a lovely young woman with beautiful features of her mother. Her step mother and sisters had gotten older as well. Her sisters were as spoiled as they wanted to be and her step mother was mean and cruel.

The only thing Cindy did look forward to was seeing her father's brother who she met after he had died. He was so sweet to her and he looked just like her father. He cared for her greatly. He knew how her step- mother treated her and he didn't like it, so he would come over to check on her to make sure she was ok!
