They are often a distraction, yet you try keeping them out.
How is it that feelings can be so powerful?
One person can fill your mind
Like how the sky is filled with sunshine.
Where do the feelings come from?
Is it unexpected
Or was the love there before?
Does it develop slowly
Or does opportunity open a door?
No matter where feelings come from,
No matter why they're there,
Love is love, and it can be hard
To realize what things have become.
