We suggest that instead of censoring mental illness/ED/self-harm themed books that do NOT glorify their themes, that Wattpad come up with a new method of warning readers of what content they may see in these books.
One idea we have is that in the story/work editing section, add an option we can select to put a warning in our story description or first chapter. This warning can also ask if the user would like to "read anyway." The website ArchiveofOurOwn.com uses this method if a story contains uncomfortable material, but does NOT rate it as "Mature" or add any restrictions.
