Finding Love

Chapter one

"Thanks sweetheart" my dad says as I hand him a glass of water "Your welcome" I say to him. "How you feeling" I asked "better than yesterday" he says with a weak smile. Ok so your probably lost, so about three years ago my dad fell off of our roof when he was trying to patch a leak. I found him serval hours later. I called 911 as fast as I could. He broke his neck and both legs. At first they told me that he wouldn't make it But he proved them wrong he's paralyzed now but he's alive. He can move from his head to his waist but he can't walk. His neck is fine but it still gets sore every once and a while. The doctors say it's normal but I still worry about him. So let's go back to about a year after the accident. I only have one day off because I have to work on Wednesday, Thursday, and, Friday. I have to take care of daddy Tuesday and Saturday because that is the nurses days off. Sundays I had to teach my Sunday school class.

So it's Friday and I had just got off my shift and I'm sitting at a table in the back of Smooth Juice. Smooth juice is the juice bar that I worked at. Well anyway I was sitting at the table in the back, the table I usually sit at. I had just changed my shifts around so I could be at home with daddy after his nurse left. But anyway this guy walks up "Hey miss your at my table" the guy says with a playful grin. "Last time I checked this was the juice bars table." I said standing up."I was just leaving anyway."
I said "No no stay I'll sit with you. I didn't mean to be rude" he said grinning again "Fine" I said rolling my eyes. "We sat in silence as I read my book and he did something on his lab top. "So I didn't get your name?" He said "It's not like your probably ever going to see me again why do you need to know my name." I said rudely "Well since I'm sitting with you I would like to know your name so I know what to call you now." He said with a smirk "Call me what ever you want and I'll answer to it." I said smiling "Cece" he said "Thats what your going to call me." "Yep" he said "ok" we sat in silence for a while before he finally broke the silence "So Cece you work here?" He asked "Yeah how did you know?" "Your still wearing your uniform." He said "Oh well I feel stupid now" I said laughing. "So what do you do or what do you want to do?" I asked him "Well I want to draw comics for the local magazine but I don't think it will ever happen" "Wait so you draw comics let me see some." I said "Naw they aren't really that good." He said "No I bet they are really good. Come on let me see." I begged "Fine but only a few" he said showing me two of his comics "Wow these are really good Leo." I said "Leo?" He asked "Yep that's what I'm calling you" I said smiling "Leo" he said "I like it" he continued. I smiled at him "It suits you."
