Caught on-stage.
The red in your eyes,
The red on the page.
The screaming perfectionist,
a hole in the wall.
The pebble in the sock,
the cause of your fall.
Unreasonable demands,
unfulfilled needs.
A rich man's tears,
and pending deeds.
Prankster, beware!
This living hell.
You're pranking others,
you're pranking yourself.
Masks unveiled shall shine out bright.
Shine out brighter than the white.
Plastic hope and ugly lives
Make me wonder why we thrive.
What we see,
all day and night,
They make us see,
the wrong and right.
Rage, pain and tear filled eyes.
An angry jester's alibis.
Defeat deceit,
Defeat defeat.
A defeated man. A weeping pawn,
sleeps, hopes for better dawn.
Trapped in sketches,
The artist cries.
While misery, pain,
and anger die.
Costly headphones,
tunes of tales.
Keep us awaiting better days.
Music, they say, is invaluable.
While albums are put up for sale.
