Dear Poseidon,
HE MADE IT! MY, OUR PERCY MADE IT INTO THE UNDERWORLD AND OUT ALIVE! I saw him today, he looked so brave, I think this quest has done him good. He had more self-confidence and bravery today than he has for a very long time. He also made the mature desicion to leave me in the Underworld and save himself and his friends so that he could save himself and his friends as well as save the gods from a war. He knew that I wouldn't let him transport me out and leave either him or one of his friends. He was able to trick Hades into letting him go. Now I am sure that he will return the master bolt, find and return the helm, and, knowing him, he won't rest until he releases me as well.
Hades is coming, so I must leave. Maybe I will send you this letter when I get out of here (along with the other 837), but maybe not (for I have never found the courage to do so before. Good-bye. I pray to you to send help to our son Percy Jackson.
