ch.1: so... summer just died

I looked out the window. Most people would see the sunset and the sky being beautiful! But all I saw was darkness. Everything is a blur to me. "April, come down here please" my mom shouted. I came down the stairs very slowly so I don't trip on the stairs. I saw my mom just standing there. "What is it mom" I said. "Well u know it is your first day tomorrow at school being a senior" said my mom. "Yea I'm aware" I shouted. Oops I didn't mean to shout that loud. "Please try to act happy for once. Look I know u have not been better with your therapy, but I just want u to enjoy your last year in high school" my mom said very quickly. "No promises mom" I said as I was trying to back up the stairs. "Please April, just this once" cried out my mom. My mom hated the depression. She wanted a happy child so bad that a she would do anything to have that. "I'll try" I said. My mom hugged me and then she said "thank u" She let go of me and by then it was about time to go to sleep. "Goodnight April, have an ok day tomorrow" I whispered.
