Reese's P.O.V.

"Are you sure you have to leave today?"

I asked as we pulled up to the airport departure.

"Yes Reese."

Jace said as he flung his black North Face backpack over his now muscular shoulder.

He stood in front of my mother, father, and his mother, father and two year old twin siblings Cassie and Charlie

Jace gave us a salute.

"Did you just salute us?"

I questioned jokingly.

He smiled as he opened his arms instead.

One by one we gave Jace one last hug; I was last.

"Bye Reessie Piece."

he said as I buried my face into the camofluge jacket, and let a few tears trickle down the side if my cheek.

"Hey."

Jace said in a whisper once he noticed that I was crying.

He gripped the side if my face with his hand so I couldn't look away.

"No tears Reese. It's only for two years. I will be back before you know it!"

All I did was take a shaky breath to steady myself from crying.

"OK"

 I managed to say.

"Bye Reescie."

"Bye Jace."

he smiled as gave me one last hug.

Jace gave the family a wave.

"Please don't leave me."

I whispered as I watched him cross the street and disappear through the automatic doors.
