Remember Me

Prologue

        The crowd stood up and applauded me when a I finally completed my 50th sand art show. I ended the show with a traditional American flag and bowed. I walk down from the stage and go up to my best friend, Juvia and my sister, Levy. We smiled at each other and we had a huge embracement for about ten seconds. " We made it!" I throw my hands up in to the air and twirl. I stop when someone taps my shoulder... I quickly turn around to two beautiful faces which no one can mistaken . " ERZA! JELLAL!" I exclaim while jumping on top of them. Jellal and Erza helped us a lot when our parents died in a car accident. First of all Jellal was one of the doctors helping my Papa and his wounds also he is our family doctor. Erza is pretty much our big sister. After getting married to Jellal, she has been way more strict than usual. "I am so proud of you Lucy ," they both said in unison , " after this you go back home and we will go out for dinner at the new restaurant named 8- island" I nod at this statement because lately we haven't cooked food. "Why" you ask, well we all have been lazy this week because we had this marathon watching 'Once Upon a Time' together. Usually Juvia is screaming at us while cooking because she is reminding us that one day we will have to cook for our husbands. Once Upon a Time is exceptional though, Levy, me and Juvia would go all nighters just to finish the next episode... Heh. We are not crazy... Who told you that?
           As we left the restaurant, I grab the car keys to drive the car but Levy runs up to me and grabs it. "Uh...No you aren't going to drive today! I haven't driven this car since you finally decided to get your license" she had a smirk on her face while Juvia just got into the back seat of our car. I just nod and went to go sit in the front seat. The car had a smell of the forest nearby grandpas house... The smell of pine wood and oak. The aroma brought me back to the days where we all played... And not worry about the world at all.
{time skip : they are on the highway}
Levy turns up the music and let it sit there so we all could enjoy it. One by one we started to sing with the songs which would play on the radio. "  THIS IS MY FIGHT SONG!" We all yelled as Rachel Platten rose up our spirits by singing. Which lasted for some while until, our car broke down. I walk out of the car and stand there with a big frown on my face... "The engine is combusted!" I grimaced when Levy also got out of the old and rusty car. Levy's eyes borrowed when she saw all the smoke the vehicle was producing. Once we finally got the shaking Juvia out of the car we stuck our hand in the air for anyone to stop and help us. Many cars went passing by, ignoring the fact that there was three maidens in distress. I sigh at the fact that they were stuck at the side of the highway , I kick a pebble out of anger. It hit a motorcycle driver with a white with black stripped scarf... And I smiled. Levy notices the and walks over to me , " Hm? You face looks pretty joyful after you hit that guy" she shoved me towards the car. I laugh and I notice a small box on the road, so out of curiosity I go and pick it up. The box had a tag on it saying "Happy Birthday Wendy! I hope you can remember me!I am N-" I snicker at the bad handwriting. Before I finish reading who it was, Levy's voice breaks through and the whole world turns black.

{time skip}

" I- I---" My eyes flutter at the intense light shining on me. I move my right shoulder and I see... Levy and Juvia with tears in their eyes. Doctor Jellal walks in and looks at Levy with a stern face . Levy understood and see walked out with him.

(Levy P.O.V)

"Humph" I said as I walk out of Lucy's room. I look up at Jellal and I look at him with pleading eyes. I don't want him to break any bad news. Last time he took me out side the room privately is to announce that my parents passed. I breath slowly and wait for Jellal to say something but he keeps on walking. I decided to break to silence , " What's going to happen to Lucy?" He quickly turns back and looks straight at me. He sighs and says it with a serious look on his face," Lucy has suffered from brain damage... It's not that bad don't freak out." I fake a smile and gesture to him to keep on going, " She won't be able to remember events that happen in 24 hours... meaning that she won't remember what happened the other day when she goes to sleep."
I hold my breath , waiting for Jellal to say 'Haha I was kidding' to me. He didn't.
How will I tell Lucy... she will just forget the next day.

     I walk into the room with a cheerful face to not alarm anyone in the room. I decided to tell Juvia because... She's our friend.
I go up to Juvia and tell her what will happen to Lucy. She jumps up and yells, "LUCY CANT REMEMBER ANYTHING FROM THE DAY BEFORE ANYMORE?!?" I sigh... I guess it's not a secret anymore.

Lucy gets up into a sitting position and looks at me with 'is that true?' look. I just nod at her glare. "I got an idea," Lucy finally says after 5 minutes of silence. I looked at her and smiled...

           She always has a idea.
