Pride

They say

They want to protect the children

So they teach them violence and hate

They claim we are seeking privileges,

But we seek only what they never had to fight for.

They send us to be cured

When there is nothing wrong with us

They kick us from our homes

While telling us that we are the ones destroying that family

They bar us from bathrooms

While screaming about liberty

They get angry when we kiss

They get angry when we speak

They get angry when we exist

They can get angry all they want

We are still here

And our fight has only begun

The only thing that is in my closet now

Are my clothes
