I thought I could get some much needed hours of sleep, but Hell hath no fury.Zayn and Niall's voice were projected on the intercom at 5 minute intervals, seeming to shove nails into my eardrums. Zayn would spout something stupid off, and there would be a sound of wrestling and Niall cussing him out, the plane would slightly tilt, and then everything would go silent again.
Every cell in my body was stressed out to the max. I seriously thought that we were going to die because of Zayn crashing this plane, but then when I thought about all the things that had happened to us I started to think it wasn't such a bad thing.
I was worried to death about Valie, and I was devastated that there was no cure for her. The only thing I could do was be there with her, be her light, until she turned. I vowed to myself that I would make things right between us, and to make sure she knew I didn't hate her because I loved her with my whole heart. She was my best friend, and she helped me survive years of my "family". And I also promised myself that I would get my revenge, and avenge Valie when this was all over.
If it ever ended, that is.
My eyes were blankly locked on the chairs in front of me, my head still placed on Luke's shoulder. Ringing rolled around in my skull, probably from the lack of sleep and water. I'm pretty sure it wasn't healthy, or natural for that matter, to keep my eyes open for this long. I could practically feel the huge bags that had formed under my eyes. The physical and mental wear of everything surely shown in my posture and my behavior.
I just wanted this all over.
The intercom dinged, signaling it had been another five minutes and that Zayn had somehow gotten the microphone back from Niall. "Knock knock," Zayn started, a smile obviously in his voice. I rolled my eyes and snuggled deeper into Luke's chest. He welcomely wrapped his arm around my hunched shoulders and pulled me into his broad chest.
I liked Zayn, honestly, he was a funny guy. But his annoying shenanigans and cheesy jokes were quickly wearing thin on my already non existent patience and stress level. All I wanted was him to shut up and fly us to London as fast as he could.
"Shut the fuck up!" Ashton yelled loudly, cupping his hands around his mouth. With his aggravated hand pushing through his messy hair, it was clear I wasn't the only one who was tired of his crap. Silence, then, "Oi! You Aussie motherfucker I heard you! I'm bout to come back there and pop a cap in your ass with my 9mm." Not being able to hold it anymore, I let out a loud groan. Grumbles of consent were flown about the cabin, and it looked like all of us wanted him to shut up.
"Zayn! Give me the damn microphone, mate! You're gonna fucking crash us!" Niall screamed in the background, making my ears vibrate. More struggles and protests were announced through the intercom, but this time it didn't stop.
The plane tipped to the right, but this time it didn't stop there. It continued turning, and soon the plan was halfway flipped over. My eyes widened as I held onto the chair for dear life, and buckled up my seatbelt. Luke protectively threw a arm over me, as solid and rigid as steel.
Once the plane did a full 360 and seemed to be settled, I threw off my seatbelt and got up from my chair. I stormed down the middle of the seats with fists balled tightly at my side. "Uh oh," I heard Ashton mutter, knowing what I was doing. "I'm scared for them," Louis added as I passed him.
Finally I made it to the Pilot's door, and I pounded my fists so hard on the door I knew they would be bruised tomorrow. Clicks moved, and the door slid open to reveal a red-faced, flustered Niall.
I shoved him, making him stumble back until he fell back into his captains chair. My arms immediately crossed over my chest as I tapped my foot. Making eye contact with both of them, I yelled, "What. The. Hell." The lack of sleep has made my temper rise at the slightest of things, but I couldn't really help it.
