I didn't sleep much that night. I felt like Slade would come for me at any time. The next morning, I went to bury my mom. "I love you mom. I'll make Slade pay for what he did to you and Dad." I felt like just dying, but if I was anything like Dad, my healing factor wouldn't allow it. I went home and looked around the house for any trace of Dad or Mom. I found a photo of them and Wolverine. And on the back it said... I left as fast as possible for the X-Mansion. When I got there the X-Men welcomed me happily. "Nick, you seem troubled", Professor X said. "I need to see Logan." I felt him reading my mind. "I see." I follow him to Logan's room. "Logan, Nick wishes to speak with you." Logan looks up. "What's up, kid? Why do you look so glum?" *After I explain* "WHAT?!" "I found a note from Mom saying you could help me." "How?" "You can train me." "It won't be easy." "When is it ever?" "OK let's go. But first you need a code name." A code name? I've got it... "Blaze." "Huh?" "Blaze." He looks at me for a second. "OK let's go."
