The creature stood there with his clunk of metal and began to activate it. It was the origin of the unnatural shriek. The creature stuck the screaming metal into me as it shredded away at my bark and through my core. The pain was excruciating as I saw my sap violently splatter against the creature and the trees around me. I wanted to scream, but it seemed as though the clunk of metal was doing it for me.
