Chapter 23


Blake's POV

We ran to the next room. But we were too late. He was already dead.


After a few minutes his ghost came out.

"Hey!" Autmn shouted at him. "Come with us. We're not gonna hurt you." She said reassuringly.

His spirit started to float to us.

"Hey Brad." Amber said to the ghost.


Brad just nodded at her.

"You know him?" I whispered to her.

"Yeah. He's in my Math class" Amber said sadly.

"Ok. come on Brad let's take you to a safe place." Autmn said.


That's when we guided him to the portals.

Then some Dark ones started appearing.

I started to make a stone shield to protect Brad.

While Rowena was slashing and jabbing the ghost torches into the ghosts chest.


"Come on just a few more!" Adam shouted.

We started walking faster.

Then we ran.

"Here we are." Peter said.

And the portal opened.

I let the shield fall and let Brad free


"Here. Go in. It's gonna be alright." Rowena said.

"Thank you." Brad whispered to us.

Then he stepped forward and a bright light started to shine.

Then he was gone.

We all looked at each other and smiled.


He was safe. We did it.


Peter's POV

I started feeling something burning inside of me.

It was faint but it was really disturbing.

"Hey Autmn can you heal me?" I asked her.

"Sure. What's the problem?" She asks me.

"I just have this burning feeling in me." I replied.

"Where?"She asked me.

I pointed to my stomach.

Then she placed a hand on it.


But it didn't work.


"Better?" She asked smiling.

"Yeah." I said fake smiling at her.

I didn't want her to worry.


That's when i started feeling a little bit weak.

"It's nothing." I muttered to myself.


"Peter! Come on!" Rowena shouted smiling.

I smiled back at her.

Rowena's POV

All of us started to train again.

"Hey guys. Im going to use the restroom." I said to them.

"Sure." All of them replied.


I was in the restroom when the lights went out.

I started feeling a chill run down my spine.

That's when two pair of hands wrapped around my skull.

Then my head started to throb.

I clawed the hands that wrapped around me. But his or her grip was too strong.

Then the lights went on again.

That's when I saw who did this to me.

"No..." I whispered.

Then he/she (I'll reveal the gender next chapter) shushed me.

Then the world faded before me.
