I've been able to hide my belly  so far with big sweaters  and baggy shirts but its only a matter of time until it gets too big to hide. Mostly everyone knows about the baby already  but I just cant find the courage to tell my mom. She's a very strong believer of abstinence, She believes sex is should be saved until marriage and people who don't are the ones throwing themselves at anything with a pulse. I don't know what she'll do to me if she found out, She'd probably disown me or even kill me. I know  it sounds like I'm over exaggerating  but you haven't met my mother.

It was 10 am and I sat laying on my bed scrolling through my feed when I  heard my doorbell ring out. I groaned not wanting to get out of my warm
comfy bed. I was hoping that if I ignored it, whatever was at the door would go away but by the third ring I was up and out of bed. "Whoever it is better be dying.." I mumbled rubbing my eyes in an
attempt to wake myself up. I'm not quite the morning person. "This better be-"  I stopped myself as I swung open the door to reveal  a familiar face "Mom?"  I questioned " Oh look at my little girl!" she
exclaimed wrapping her arms around me and brining me in for a giant bear hug. I arched my back backwards to avoid her feeling my bump "Mom! What a surprise!"  I said. Its like bloody marry if you say her name too many times she appears. Don't get me wrong I love my mother with all my heart and soul and will do anything for her  but my mom and I never quite saw eye to eye. She was a diehard Christian, whatever the bible says goes, and I was more open-minded to the world and wanted to explore all the things my mother disapproved of. That's why I moved to Los Angeles so I can venture out without my mother hovering right over my shoulder yelling at me about how "Jesus wouldn't approve!" . "Oh I was just in town and wanted to see how my sugar plum is doing! You haven't been doing anything that the big man wouldn't approve of have you?" she said pointing to the sky " Of course not momma." I said walking over to the couch where my mom was and  sitting in the chair across from her "So how have you been?  You and dad doing alright?" I asked  tugging on my
shirt to hide my stomach "Oh you know your father, always working." she laughed  "Oh Donnas son
Andre has been asking about you."  she added  wiggling her eyebrows. I let out a nervous laugh "Mom you know me and Andre broke up right?" I said looking up at her  "I know honey but I've always liked that boy.."

.

.

I tried to ask her as many questions about life back home, just to talk about anything but myself. I hate lying to my own mother.  "Hey mom I'm going to make some coffee you want some?"  I offered
"Oh sure honey, two sugars and-" " And three cream, I'm your daughter I think I know how you like your coffee." I chuckled "Just making sure sweet pea." she smiled . I walked over  to the kitchen
And opened the Cupboard reaching for the coffee mugs and filling them up. I walked back into the living room with two steaming cups. I handed one to my mother "Thanks." she said giving me a half smile.
Her demeanor changed dramatically since I left the room, her face was drained  and emotionless, as if
she's seen a ghost  "You okay mom?" I asked  sitting back in my chair "Honey.." she said trailing off
"Yeah?" I asked getting worried  "Have you visited any Countries with tape worms, like south America?" she asked. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion "No..why?" I questioned "Because your
belly is swelled up to the size of a baby pot belly pig." she said ,Shit "I'm not sick mom.." I said trailing off . She looked at me and raised an eyebrow "Well then what is it?" she pressed  "I'm 9 weeks pregnant."
