"So," I sighed. "I just need to sign here and I'll be in?"
"You will." She smiled.
"Okay." I signed it.
"It's a pleasure to have you, Kylie Jones Wilston."
"You too, Savannah." I gave her a fake smile. "Don't forget my conditions."
"Don't take you to other countries for a very long time, let you go whenever you want, don't make face scandals. Yeah, yeah, it's all written in that paper."
"Okay-"
"The first repetition is tomorrow. 4pm. Same building."
"I'll be there."

I stepped out of my car and walked towards the building.
"So this is it, huh?" I giggled and then immediately stopped. "I still didn't tell Mr. Robinson that for now on, I'm going to attend this orchestra instead of his..."
As I was getting closer to the building, I could already hear how those high, pitch trumpet players tuned their instruments.
"Could use more bass." They finally started to play some music and I listened to it while standing outside. "I'm here." I sighed as I entered the classroom.
"Nice timing, Jones." Savannah smiled and returned to the orchestra. "Everyone, this is Kylie."
"The one we were talking about?" One man asked.
"She's the one." Savannah smiled like she just won a trophy. "Anyway, about the finals."
"What about it?" A woman asked.
"We're teaming up." Savannah giggled. "With "The Budgets"."
"I-" I tried to protest, but I shut my mouth immediately.
No, Kylie, you just got here, you can't just give up music for a guy. You will play there. It was your dream. You can't give it up.
I remembered our last meeting in the amusement park and in the hospital. He still didn't say "sorry".
"Fuck that guy, named... I don't even remember his name anymore." I shook my head.
"The competition will be held at August 16th. We still have half a month." Savannah winked at me. "We're flying to Chicago with "The Budgets". Get ready, everyone, this will be a trip that you won't forget."
"Is that even fair? We combine a regular orchestra with a professional orchestra. That's not fair for other orchestras!" I said.
"Actually, "The Budgets" won the first place in semi-finals. The winner of semi-finals are able to combine with an orchestra, and they chose us." Savannah smiled and gave us a sign to start.
I was good to start to play with my bass again after all of that stress.

At home
Packing bags, getting ready to leave in two days
Mum never got back home since then.
Dad always ignored the subject and pretended that he had an important call incoming.
He's gone now, though.

With Love, Kylie
Teen FictionI was standing in my balcony looking at the dark sky with stars. It was peaceful and calm. I liked this. For the first time in this whole year, I felt calm. "I wish for true love and luck on finding myself." I laughed at myself. I never believed in...
