Last Day
Jazz POV

After yesterday events at Apple Bees, Trav called so much I had to block his number. Although it hurt to lose another best friend, I rather be friendless than to be constantly lied to by people I trust.

After emailing my partner at the office, I was relieved to know I didn't have to leave the house for anything. My mom decided on cooking and I was fine with that.

Since I didn't want to be bothered , I decided to put my phone on DND and head into the bathroom to shower. Once I finished all of my hygiene, I threw on some lounging clothes and headed down stairs into the kitchen to get something to drink.

Only to see Travis sitting in the living room with a little girl sitting on his lap. Saying fuck it to my dry ass throat; I turned around to walk back up the stairs, only to be called back by my mom.

Rolling my eyes, I walked back into the living room looking only at my mom, waiting to be lecture like a fucking teenager;I folded my arms across my chest and shifted my weight to my right side before speaking.

"Yes mama?"

"Y'all need to talk and that's not a question." She said before walking back into the kitchen; leaving us in the living room along.

After 5 minutes of silence, I was annoyed and decided to say something; but was quickly cut off.

"Look, I'm sorry Jazz, I should have told -"

I cut him off.

"It's whatever Travis, save the apologies for your "WIFE TO BE"; I'm use to it. But, I'm guessing this is your daughter ?" I said trying to control my anger by laughing.

Without looking at me; he replied: "Yeah, her name is Aubrey Antoinette Labranch."

I looked at her and he had a smirk on his face.

"You're her god mother."

"I think it's time for you to go." I said holding in the tears that's begging to fall.

Before they had a chance to escape; I ran upstairs into my room and locked the door.

For the rest of the day; I laid in bed and cried myself to sleep.

---------------

Waking up to my alarm it was time for me to get up and get ready to head out for my flight back to Atlanta.

After finishing up in the bathroom; I was dressed, packed, and ready to go to the airport. After saying my good byes to my mom and grandma, I was headed out.

Sitting in the airport, I cut my phone on to see I had a lot of text messages and missed phone calls.

Just as I was about to start on my messages; my flight was called.
