I held my little sister close to my chest.

"Y/N..." She whined. "Why are we staying away from mommy?"

I sighed.

I didn't want to tell her.

"Um...let's just say...daddy is..being mean...."

She looked at me in confusion.

"But...wasn't daddy always mean..?"

Suddenly, a loud scream filled the air.

It was moms.

"Y/N, I'm scared!" She said, squeezing me tightly.

"Don't worry, sis, I got you."

I knew this was coming, we had to leave.

Or else we'd be next...

I was done packing my bags, so I frantically helped my sister.

"Where are we going?" She asked, tilting her head.

I forced a smile onto my face and bent down.

"Sis, daddy has been....rude. Let's say he did...something to mommy, so we have to run away."

"But Y/N, does daddy know?"

I shook my head.

"No, sis, he can't."

I helped her put her bag over her shoulders and picked her up.

"Let's go." I said, opening the window.

"Go where, Y/N...?"

I sighed.

"A place far, far away from home."

And hopefully we'd never have to come back...
