Lost Spirit

Units POV
Cadmen was my friend. My wingman. My brother, now he's gone. I remember the time before the battle when he helped me with my crush Chloe. How he let me beat on him just so I could be happy. I will miss him😔.

Mary's POV
Cadmen was my partner. My friend. He would make me do extremely dangerous and fun things. Always giving me a fair chance. Mist was my sister. To learn that she died by the hands of the one who raised us. It was hard to hear. Even so the Humans killed Cadmen they killed our Guardian.

Chiefs POV
I managed to get Captain Lasky and Arbiter to agree to try one more push on Cortana before we give up. "I understand that both sides had heavy losses so let's not let anymore die." I tell them. They agree that if we are going to win we need the final clone. We need that kid on our side.  The clones are all in the war games simulator. Where Dr. Halsey watching over them. I tell her to end the games and she does. They all turn there attention to me when I walk into the room." Alright we have the green light from the Captain so now we can find the last clone." I start. I get a faint cheer but that soon dies out." Now I need everyone in teams of three or four and the teams will be chaperoned by either a group of Spartans or Elites." I motion for them to get into groups and they do. All the teams are the same as the originals. Fire team Noble, Black, Red, Green, all of the teams then blue team..... Blue team is broken. Two members dead, one M. I. A. That leaves two. I assign the teams to there chaperones then I walk up to blue team. "You two are with me." I tell them. There faces light up and I smile under my helmet. My blue team is already at the pelican so when I walk in with the clones I brief everyone of the plan." Ok Infinity assumes that she landed here." A holographic map of the area appears on the screen. I point to the location." Our teams will search the perimeter while we search the area of impact. Now any questions so far?" No one had any questions." Ok then, Fred you take Unit and search the left side of the pond. Linda you take Whisp and get on top of the cliff that on the right side and scope the area from above. Kelly me and you will go into the lake to find..." I stopped for a second, I had to think about what I was about to say." We'll see if she didn't make it." Kelly nodded as did everyone else. I told the pilot we were ready to go.

With there helmets still off Fred and Linda saw there younger selves in Unit and Whisp. They had many things in common and they talked the whole ride. "You ok?" Kelly asked me.
"Yeah, why?" I said.
"Because you seam so tense." She put her head on my shoulder.
"I'm fine." I lied.
She looked at me hard. I had my helmet on but still." We're gonna find her. You know that right. She's your clone so I know she has luck on her side." She reassured me. We landed then split up. Me and Kelly put oxygen tanks on and dove into the lake." I turned on my COM channel." This is Blue one. COM check everyone check in." I said then waited.
"Blue two check." Kelly
"Blue three check." Fred.
"Blue four check." Linda.
"Baby Blue two check." Unit.
"Baby Blue three check." Whisp.
"Alright you have your orders. Let's find Spirit." I said.

Spirits POV
Hhhhhhuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh!!!(heavy breathing.) how long was I out? Where am I? What happened? I look around. I remember drowning. I grab my neck only to feel something wrapped around it. I pull it off. OMG!!! Cadmens necklace!!! Wait..... Cadmen.... Oh right. He's dead😔. "Nnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!" Why?! Why would he do that?! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! That's what he was! He was stupid... And brave.... He was stupid and brave. I wipe my nose and clean my face in the pond. Then I heard the sound of a Pelican. I see many fly over me. I jump into the pond when the last Pelican landed near me.

Chiefs POV
I hate water. It puts me off balance. We search everywhere for the two. I am glad we haven't found them yet at least not down here. Kelly found a helmet and what looked like broken pieces of armor but no body's." Alright there's nothing here, let's go back up." I tell her. I turn around only to get a boot to the face! My visor was cracked and now it was breached.
"John!" I hear Kelly yell. I see her figure fight with another. Then it pulls her up.
"Kelly!" I yell." All Blue units converge on the lake I repeat converge on the lake!" I scream over the COMs. I try to swim up and out of the lake only to have my foot stuck. Oh no.

Kelly's POV
I am dragged back to the surface leaving John back in the lake. What ever attacked me is holding me by my neck,tight.  I hear heavy breathing. A girl. The Girl!! "Hey..." I managed to say with her strangling me." We aren't you enemy."
"Shut your mouth!" She snapped. Then let me fall. I lift my head and she kicks my helmet off. I don't want to fight her. I can see that she hurt and confused and upset.

"Spirit!" A boys voice yelled. It was Unit and Fred. Linda and Whisp side off the cliff guns trained on her." Spirit stop!" Unit yelled. She picked me up and held me in a choke again. Then she made a magnum and aimed it at my head!
"Spirit don't please!!" Whisp called.
"Why not?! We lost our Rabbit so why don't we make it even!" Spirit yelled. Her suit started to power up. Unit and Whisp haven't powered up yet.
"Spirit... I know your upset but think about what your doing." I say.
"Shut it!! All of you!! Just SHUT IT!!!" She let out a burst of energy that affect Unit and Whisp.
"Kids!" Fred yelled. Another pulse and we were all stuck in place.That's when we heard John calling for help on all channels. He was still down there!
Locke's team was the first to answer.
"You!!" Spirit yelled. She lunged at Locke." I'll kill you!!!" The others opened fire on her but she put up a shield. Then let out another pulse making their suits freeze as well. She rips off Locke's helmet and chest plate. Then she made a sword.
"Wait!! You can't kill him!!" I yelled.
"And why not?" She asked.
"Because if you do. Chief will die." She lowered her weapon." If you kill him and any of us John won't make it. Please Spirit." Tears welled up in my eyes." He's still your father." I begged.

Halos POV
She was right. I had the man who killed my friends right at my feet. I look back at Locke." It'd be so easy to kill you." I tell him raising my weapon.
