"Cal hang on! We can't be too long, Mike said that he's hungry." I said, following close behind. He stopped and turned around. He slowly walked up to me. He grabbed my hips softly and melted his eyes into mine. I froze, it was like he just hit me with a ray or something. I stared at him, barely breathing.
"Mike can wait." He whispered, looking at my lips. I swallowed, blinking repeatedly. He laughed a little at my reaction, he grabbed my hand and led me to the school. I felt like I had just been hypnotized by him, his scent, his warmth, his words. I followed slowly behind as he stood in the middle of the soccer/football field. He took a deep breath in.
"Shit, I so remember playing football here every recess, just being young." He turned to me, "Always trying to impress you." He said with a smirk. I shook my head smiling, and crossed my arms, waiting for him to be done. All of the sudden my phone rang. I saw it was Luke calling.
"Hey Luke." I said.
"Are you guys almost back? Your mom was quite confused when she got home and you weren't here and we were." He said. I could hear laughing in the background. I looked over to Calum who looking upset.
"Yeah we'll be back soon." I said, looking at Calum still.
"Alright but hurry because Mike's like a gorilla over here " He said.
"Yeah don't worry, bye." I said laughing. I hung up the phone.
"Cal?" I asked. He looked up at me.
"What's the matter?" I asked, approaching him.
"I feel like Luke like... interupts us all the time." He said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I know." I said. "I don't think he tries to though, babe." I said. He shrugged.
"Why would he anyways?" I asked.
"I feel like he likes you or something." He said, looking at me.
"Well, even if he does, I don't like him. I like someone else, someone amazing." I smiled.
