Harry crawled out of bed with a groan. After completing his morning routine, he headed to his kitchen and made a cup of tea, enjoying the sunrise. Hermione would be dropping off Rose soon, and Harry wasn't sure when Draco would bring Scorpius.

When he heard a knock, he smiled to himself and headed to the door. "Uncle Harry!" Rose cheered. The four year old girl jumped into his arms.

"Hey Rosie! How are you?"

"Good!"

Hermione grinned. "You're exceptionally chipper today, H. What is it?"

He smiled. "Well--" they were interrupted by the approach of Draco and Scorpius coming down the hall.

"Hi Harry!" Scorpius cheered. He was carrying the runt kitten and a bottle. "I brought little Luna."

Rose squirmed out of Harry's arms and ran over to the boy. "Can I pet her?"

Draco smiled, greeting Hermione. "Good morning."

She smiled. "Good morning, Draco. I bet you're the reason Harry's so happy. I'd love to stay and chat but I have a meeting in five minutes." She kissed Harry's cheek and then Draco's before turning on the spot, disapparating with a pop!

Draco smiled at Harry. "You do look like you're in a good mood."

Harry pulled him into a sweet kiss. "You get to work."

The blond blushed. "Thanks for watching Scorp."

"No problem. Bye Dray."

"See ya. Be good, Scorp."

"I will!" He said, following Rose into Harry's flat.

She was telling the ten year old all of Harry's rules, and showing him around.

Later on, he asked them what they wanted for lunch, and they all agreed on Chinese, so he ordered takeout.

"Harry, do you love my dad?" Scorpius asked.

Harry looked at him, taking the time to consider if his feelings were true. "Yes, I do. Why do you ask?"

The boy sighed. "My mom was really mean. When she and dad divorced, I had to stay with her most of the time, and it was awful. But Dad finally got custody of me recently, and I'm always afraid I'll have to go back. But I like when you're around. Dad was so happy last night, I want him to be like that all the time. So I hope you stick around for awhile."

Harry sighed. "I really care about your Dad, Scorp. I have for several years."

"How come you never said anything to him?"

"I was afraid. I never knew if he would feel the same way."

Scorpius smiled. "So you aren't going to leave? Not for awhile, at least."

Harry laughed. "If it was up to me, I'd never leave."

Rose hobbled over to them. "Are you dating Scorp's daddy?" She asked.

"Yes I am, Rose," Harry said with a smile.

Six months later, Harry and Draco were so in tune with each other. But then Draco was working more, and Harry decided to leave the Auror Office. He told Kingsley that he wanted to do other things. And one day, he was alone at his apartment, sketching, when he heard the floo go off.

"Hello?"

"Harry!"

He got up. "What's wrong, Scorp?"

The boy was leaning against the wall with tears streaming down his face. "I don't know what to do. Dad's been really sick lately, and he's been grumpy and weird. I don't know what I'm going to do."
