Chapter 1: Maiya meets a soul reaper!
A girl with deep red hair was walking home from school, when she saw a soul of a puppy. She had the ability to see ghosts, and she didn't mind it. She wanted spirits to rest at peace, like her mom and dad did.
Her mom was Rukia and father was Renji. She loved them, for they were funny and nice, the perfect parents. She had an older sister and a dog named Max.
As she walked to her door step, the door opened.
"Maiya! Sweetie, how was school today?" asked her father.
"It was good. I saw a puppy on the way home!" explined Maiya.
"Aww! I bet it was cute!" her dad smiled a goofy smile. Maiya passed him with a smile and sat on her couch.
She rembered she had homework and headed to her room. Her dad knew and didn't mind.
"Okay....Number 12 is.." Maiya asked herself.
"Answer is 20." a vioce said out of the blue.
Maiya turned around t see who said it. No one was there. Maiya shrugged it off and conitued working on her home work.
After an hour or so, it got dark, about time for diner. She raced her sister down the stairs.
