Elena was sitting on her bed writing in her diary as usual, I never got that she wrote in a diary I always thought they were for little kids who write in it say that a boy called them ugly. Elena started to write in that diary after our parents died in a car crash with both of us in the car, she learned to cope with the fact that there gone I started drinking. I'm trying to pretend I don't have a hangover and act as sober as I could. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, I reeked of alcohol so I decided to take a shower to not give away that I was drunk with a couple of friends last night. I stripped down and turned on the warm water, amazingly it felt so good to have cold water run down my body for a couple of seconds. I got dressed and put on some light makeup. Elena was staring into her mirror when I went to go check up on her.

"Come on Lena, first day back at school." I rolled my eyes at the word school how can anyone go to school at a time like this. Apparently everyone. We both walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen where Jenna was waiting.

"Toast. I can make toast." She said looking through the fridge.

"It's all about the coffee Aunt Jenna." Elena said pouring coffee into a mug.

"Is there coffee?" Jeremy asked.

"Your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared." Jenna was looking for something in her bag. Notice how I'm the quiet one, it's been like this ever since our parents died. I decided not to take part in any family conversations or any family bonding. Jeremy took Elena's coffee and set it on the counter right next to me.

"Lunch money?" Jenna held out three five dollar bill, which Jeremy took two of them. While I had the opportunity I took the coffee Jeremy took and took a big gulp out of it.

"Anything else? A number #2 pencil? What else am I missing?" I laughed at that.

"You have a presentation today." I finally spoke up, Jeremy tried to take the coffee out of my hands and I put my hand on his chest and took one last sip which caused the coffee to be gone and handed Jeremy the mug.

"I'm supposed to meet with my adviser right... now." Jenna was frantic after looking at the clock.

"Go. We'll be fine." Elena said. Oh my god! Elena is the only one who has her life put together. I drink till I forget, Jeremy smokes pot, and Jenna is trying to take care of three kids when she doesn't know that two of them don't have anything out together.

~Bonnie's car~

"Grams tells me I'm psychic." Bonnie said. Bonnie is the only one I can really trust and talk to about secret things.

"Oh so that's what she telling you now?" I laughed

"Apparently our ancestors were from Salem, witches and all that, I know, crazy, but she keeps going on about it, and I'm like, put this woman in a home already!" She laughed, "Then I started thinking, I predicted Obama and I predicted Heath Ledger, and I still think Florida will break off and turn into little resort Islands."

"Maybe you are." I said sarcastically.

"Elena!" Bonnie shouted. I guess Elena wasn't paying attention to our best friend talking.

"I did it again, didn't I?" Elena asked, "I'm sorry Bonne you were talking about..."

"How I'm psychic now." Bonnie said. My legs began to hurt because I was sitting in the back seat so it was a bit cramped back here.

"Predict something. About me." Of course Elena had to make something maybe true (not) about Bonnie to her. Something his the car and Bonnie swerved and almost hit another car.
