Chapter 36

Tyron's POV

I put my feet up on the coffee table and sat back on the couch, sipping on a Heineken as I flipped through the T.V channels for something to watch, just to take my mind off of things. I just put Sierra to sleep not too long ago, and now I'm just sitting here waiting for Chasity to come home from work so that we can talk, because that's something that we really need to do. I haven't saw or spoke to her all day, and honestly I miss her. I'm not use to dealing with this side of Chasity, so snappy and mean and isolating. I understand that her father's death is taking a turn on her life, but that's no reason for her to be treating people the way that she's been treating them. I also understand that she's angry, but she shouldn't turn her anger towards people that's trying to help her. Ugh, imma just talk to her when she get's home, because not only is her behavior hurting me..it's pissing me off.

I suddenly heard the sound of keys and the door unlock, snapping me out my thoughts. I then took another swig of my beer as I watched Chasity step through the door, before she slammed it hard behind her making the walls shake. Ugh, here goes nothing.

I cleared my throat " Hey baby " I stated as she walked into the living room with a nasty sour look on her face.

Instead of answering me she just shot me a glare, before she walked up to me and snatched the remote out my hand, and sat on the other couch opposite of me without saying a word. No lie, that pissed me off but I doubt at the moment me commenting on her stank attitude would do any good. I don't want this to turn into an argument, but I got a feeling that it will.

" How was work? " I asked as I watched her flip through the channels on the T.V

Her jaw clenched " I got fired " she mumbled angrily, and I instantly shot my eyebrows up in surprise. She got fired? Isn't her Uncle her boss? What could she have done that was so bad to make her own Uncle fire her?

" Wow, well what happen- "

" Tyron leave me alone, I don't wanna talk about it! Just shut up, damn!! " she snapped at me, making me close my eyes in annoyance.

You know what...I'm sick of her damn attitude. She came into my house, snatched my damn remote out my hand, and now she's snapping at me. Yo I understand that her dad died, but this nasty attitude got to go.

I sighed " Chasity look, I understand that your upset about your dad's death- "

She snorted " No, you think you understand but you really don't. Nobody understands what I go through " she stated before she crossed her arms over her chest. Oh really?

I narrowed my eyes at her " That's what you think. If anything I'm the number one person who understands what your going through. Did you forget that BOTH of my parents died? It was rough for me too but I pulled through it. But what's irritating me the most Chasity is that you knew for a whole year that your father was gonna die, and now all of a sudden now that he's dead your so pissed and angry at the world. I got a damn phone call from a Hospital, telling me that both of my parents were dead because another car slammed into their's and sent them crashing into a tree. So don't talk to me about nobody not understanding what your going through. Yo you wanna talk about going through? How about being a 18 year old single father, trying to get through College and take care of a new born at the same time while the mother went out a partied and cheated on you every fucking night while she left you home with a baby to take care of. So don't talk to me about going through Chasity, at 18 years old I would've traded lives with you any day! " I snarled.
