2. Strange World

Shanaya POV:

No no no!!!

I sat up on the bed screaming and put a hand on my wildly beating heart.

Oh god!!

What the hell!!!

Calm down Shanaya, calm down. It was just a nightmare.

I tried to assure myself but it was useless.

This is unusual as I rarely dream. But here, it's a nightmare.

What's going on??

In the nightmare I was-

I was running in the forest with some people following me. It was night so I didn't noticed their faces but noticed that they were wearing armour and were running towards me with several weapons in their hands. 

I ran fast but they were faster so they easily caught me. One of them caught my both arms and slapped me as I was struggling while the others were standing behind and from the look it was obvious that they were waiting for their turn. My body shivered in fear as I understood what was going to happen. They are going to violate me.

I screamed like anything and tried to escape but failed. But then all of a sudden somebody kicked that man. I was still shivering so I kept my eyes closed. When I opened them I just saw two bloody red eyes in front of me.

It was very dark and the sight was very terrifying. A scream escaped my lips and my eyes closed on their own.

And the moment I opened them I found myself in my room on my dear bed. It was a morning dream and people say that morning dream usually becomes real. And that is making me really scared.

Oh come on? It is just a myth.

My mother came running by. "Shanaya are you alright baby." She was panting heavily. She got some water and made me drink.

"Yeh it was just a nightmare." She smiled feeling relaxed. I guess I really scared her.

"Go ahead and take a shower. I will be waiting for you for the breakfast." With that she left.

I quickly jumped out of the bed and went straight for a hot shower. After I finished I went down for the breakfast.

I decided to take a walk around the city probably to get my head out of that weird dream. It was the best thing to do as no one was in the house except for servants. Dad and my two dear annoying siblings had already left. Mom too left for hospital soon after finishing the breakfast.

I went across the streets and did a bit of shopping. I got a few clothes for me and two jackets for dad and one for mom. Nothing for my little siblings as they will not like whatever I will buy for them, do I will just take them with me and then they can buy whatever they want.

I reached the outer part of the city and found a shrine.

To be honest, I was utterly shocked and breathless. I was completely confused.

I have come to this area many times but never seen a shrine over here.

Where did that came out from?

I was still trying to find the answer when the sky become dark and the shrine started to glow blue.

I looked at it and took a few steps back not liking the situation at all.

Soon the air around me changed. It became heavy.

And it wasn't long when I felt myself being pulled in. It was just like a very strong force of gravity is pulling me into the shrine. I tried to resist but it was useless. It wasn't long when I flew towards the shrine.

I was falling down seeing some weird yellowish red light around me like those in movies when their is a time travel or people travel to some another dimensions.

Ahh what am I thinking..

After a few minutes of flying I was thrown to the solid ground where there were just trees and bushes, nothing else. It looked like a forest to me. I was having a bag on my shoulders.

What the hell is this? Where on earth am I? How did I got here?

Too many questions with no answers at all...

And in order to find some answers I decided a took a step forward but regretting it soon. And the bad thing was that, that I didn't even get the time to regret my decision as instead of landing on the tough ground I landed on air and fall down the hill.

My body rolled over the ground. I was getting injured by each second. Lastly I reached the ground but I was way too much injured and tired. I couldn't see anything straight. My vision blurred and soon everything blacked out.

My dry and aching eyes opened themselves to look at the condition I was in. I was a complete mess, covered with blood, both dry and wet and of course dust. My whole body was trembling with fear and cold. It will be dark very soon, so I stood up to find some water and shelter.

And also to find some answers.

As I was walking I turned around after hearing some voice to see a few men standing. They looked exactly the same as the people in the nightmare. I mean by their appearance and dressing style. I took some steps behind in fear.

I know whats going to happen next.

"Oh no you don't little girl. You are going to be a perfect concubine for our leader." One of them uttered and I started to shiver. I took a few more steps back.

"What's the hurry I do believe that he won't get mad if we just enjoy her company for a bit." The other one said.

I swallowed and make a run. They started to chase me and not much after few seconds I was caught. One of them grabbed my hands and pinned me to the tree while the others just stand there smirking. He threw away my bag.

Oh god, it's just like the nightmare. And not understanding anything I just screamed for help and struggled against his hold.

He slapped me but I continued to struggle against his hold. I was covered in sweat and blood and was extremely exhausted. But even though I build up a bit of strength and kneed him in between his legs.

He stumbled over his steps and I taking the opportunity make a run.

I stopped dead in my track as I saw two men standing in front of me.

Taking a few steps back I stumbled into something. Shakily turning my head back my eyes made contact with the same person I have kneed.

His dangerous eyes and expression made me shiver. I swallowed and he slapped me.

His hand was so hard that I fall down on the ground. He picked me up by my hair and I screamed.

He showed me to the nearby tree.

"Oh no you don't little girl. You are not going anywhere. Trust me you are gonna enjoy." He whispered deviously in my ear and laughed.

I was continuously crying and pleading them. But all of my words fell on deaf ears.

He leaned into kiss me but was soon kicked by someone. I was saved just like in the dream. At some point I had lost hope.

Slowly I opened my eyes and saw bloody red eyes in front of me. The scene was so scary so I screamed in fear but suddenly my vision went blurred, my head started to spin and then everything blackened.
