Forever and Always

"Yes," I cried "I will marry you, Eli"

"Oh Clare!" Eli smiled.

He grabbed my waist and spun me around. Then we kissed for hours...

       That night was five years ago but I remember it like it was last night. Maybe that's because we did the exact same thing that night that we did almost every night after that.

   I woke up this morning feeling kind of disgusting. Plus, I have a horrible pain in my stomach.

    Eli drops me off at work after we went eating at Tim's for breakfast. As soon as I sit down at my desk Alli gets here.

"What's with the face you're making?" Alli asked confused.

That's when I realized that because of my stomach pain, I was, as she said it; making a face.

"I don't know" As soon as I said that I felt like I was going to vomit. So I ran to the closest trash can and threw up. I looked up to see Alli in disgust.

"Could you call Eli for me?" I ask her.

She nods and grabs the phone on my desk.

"Hey Eli," I hear her saying "can you come pick up Clare? She's sick."

She hangs up the phone and gets me my jacket while explaining to me that Eli is going to pick me up and drop me off at our house.

    By the time Eli gets here I'm already feeling better. I hop in the car leaning close to Eli for a kiss, but then I feel his lips on my cheek! My cheek?!

"No kiss?" I ask slightly angered.

"I can't afford to get sick" Eli explains "I have a meeting with my publisher tomorrow."

I just turn to face the window still kind of mad.

   In the car, I can't help but think why am I so moody? Why aren't I sick anymore? Did I miss my periods? Yes! I need to check when I get home. I have does home pregnancy test that Jenna and Connor gave me and Eli that time we slept over at there house. It was a joke of course but with Connor you never know for sure.

   I got home and scaled the staircase. I took out the box and did what I had to do. While I was peeing, I heard Eli climbing the stairs.

"Honey are you okay?" Eli asked in the sweetest voice possible "Did you throw up again?"

"No I'll be out in a sec." I replied.

But apparently he couldn't wait because he came in while I was flushing the toilet. The stick was on the counter, no results yet.

"What's that?" Eli asked even if he already knew the answer.

"Baby," I said quietly "I might be pregnant"

     Before I could do anything else he picked me up and carried me to our bed. He laid me down and pressed his lips against mine. Then I slip my hands to his belt. But he backed away grabbed his phone and texted work. He was not going back there today. He quickly undressed the both of us.

"Eli don't tease me," I begged him "I need you"

He understood completely and got in me fast. We moved togheter in perfect harmony.

"I love you Blue eyes" He moaned using my high school nickname he gave me.

"I love you more!" I moaned louder.

"Prove it" he whispered in my ear.

And I did prove it. But he gave it right back to me. moving back and forth against each other...
