"I can't." Lorelai shook her head as she sat on the bathroom counter beside Riawna. She'd convinced her to take a pregnancy test. "This isn't supposed to be happening."

"Sometimes it does though." The blonde gave her a small smile.

"This was supposed to happen when we were both happy, when he and I weren't fighting. I don't even know if he and I are going to make it. Hell, what if we don't? What if.." She trailed off, incapable of finishing her sentence as she let out a sob.

"Shh," Riawna whispered as she hugged Lorelai tightly, running a hand through her hair soothingly, "it's going to be okay."

Lorelai pulled away slowly, wiping the tears away from her eyes as the timer had gone off on her phone. "I'm scared."

"It's okay." Riawna reassured before finally Lorelai jumped off of the counter, grabbing the test slowly. She sighed as she slowly opened her eyes, looking down at it.

"Well," Riawna walked towards her, "what's it say?"

As Lorelai looked up, she looked as if she were going to fall apart even if she spoke. She bit down onto her bottom lip, and soon tasted blood in her mouth. Finally, she opened her mouth as she found courage to speak.

"I'm pregnant."
