Ere dawn is clad new waking glow
Mounts pierce sky by icy snow
Orb well poised: blackened space
Revolves the grin, meets human race
The winds kiss crested, frothing waves
Motions’ sync drives liquid slaves
Seas surround to dress hung sphere
Rushing air to waters, clear
For Moon’s dear love in rise behaves
To meet caress insatiate craves
To court in calm or balm, yet saves
The backhand slap from love’s blue nave
Swells kiss crawling, buoyant ships
To bare tales languished salted lips
On scales balance loves’ favor tips
With vagrant stare in leisure sips
Masts are greeted by sleet and rain
Calm keel carves wakes wet terrain
Seas expanse turns cold shoulder
To those apprised their days are older
A day is drawn with wet kiss
When young men’s dawn sojourned bliss
With leaping bow to fracture waves
Reticent to pine Sea days.
On pitching deck, forecastle prow
In weak resign grapples vow
The end of days for ocean slaves
Departs the bow by kissing waves
