Everything I say comes out in such a shallow breath
After what you put me through
I've given no one my trust
When you were my friend,
When did I not trust you?
When had I not believed you?
Never.
All I wanted was a good friend
But I found it wasn't you...
Were you ever there anyway?
I gave you my trust
I always believed you
But did you ever really do the same?
No...
I don't think so.
I was a good friend-
through the good and the bad
And I never thought you would turn your back
Yet sadly you did.
You gave up our value
Am I really so worthless?
Did you ever really care?
As far as I now know-
Never
