Chapter 18/ Graduation Day

It was graduation day and Kandice still won't talk to me man I don't know what to do I didn't mean for nothing to turn out this way I really love her and that's not the reason I broke up with her I just didn't want her to meet someone better than me and she end up leaving me

I was snapped out of my thoughts when my mom came in

Maxine(kise's mom): hey sweetie U ready

Me: *chuckled* ma I'm 18 you can't be calling me sweetie or sweetheart or none of that

Maxine: boy come on you're gonna be late

*skips graduation*

Kandice P.O.V

I was back home I didn't have to leave for college for 2 weeks but I'm going a week early because I need to get away and get everything together so I'm packing because I have to get on a plane in 2 days

Serena: hey how you doing

Me: good *sigh* I just I just wish I didn't get accepted in spellman or me and Markise would still be together

Serena: hunny noo don't say that listen if you and Markise are meant to be then fate will have U meet again and plus you two are best friends OK now come on you packed everything you have some people who wanna say goodbye

I went downstairs and saw destiny amber and someone I wasn't expecting Markise

Me: hey destiny hey amber

Destiny: come on amber we'll be in the kitchen

They left out and it was only me and Kise

Kise: can we have a seat please??

Me: sure

Kise: look I didn't break up with you for dajanique I broke up with you because I was scared you would find somebody better and break up with me

Me: so U decided to break up with me first look I really don't like having this conversation could you please leave I have so much to do

Kise: b-

Me: please Kise

Kise: *sigh* ight

He left

I went upstairs and slammed my door I was about to cry until I heard a knock

Me: come in

Destiny: hey boo we heard what happened are you okay

Me: *sniff* no

Destiny: aww let it all out babes

Amber & destiny comforted me while I cried they stayed and we sat up all night watching movies trying to get my mind off of what happened
