"Elizabeth! Time to get up." I heard my mum's voice call from downstairs.
"I'm up." I said, getting out of bed and walking over to my window.
Opening up the window, I took a deep breath of the fresh air. A smile appeared on my face, as I released my breath.
"God, I love the smell of the fresh air in the morning." I thought as I started to get dressed.
Pulling out a black tank top, a pair of skinny jeans and a red and black flannel, from my dresser, and put them on. I decided to curl my long, brown hair. I never really put on that much makeup, so I just put on black eyeliner. This made my green eyes pop, as my mum likes to say.
I got up and walked to my closet, pulling out my jewelry box. Taking out the necklace my great grandmother gave to me, I put it on. The little silver horse bounced up off my chest, then settled in place.
"Lizzie, it's time to go." My mum, reminded me.
"Okay, I'm ready." I said, putting in my earrings and grabbing my bag.
I turned out my light, going downstairs. I went out the door and got into the car. Off I went to start my first day of school.
