Calum started noticing signs when Michael started hanging around the druggies at his school. He'd leave his boyfriend to get high, drunk even, and nothing mattered after that. Not Calum's feelings, not their relationship, nothing.
He was always out with somebody that wasn't Calum. Whether it was Luke, or Ashton, or his new friend Thomas, it didn't matter. He hardly ever spent time with Calum.
And hardly became never in the timespan of a week, and Calum hated feeling like his throat was on fire every time he tried to talk to Michael. They just weren't the same anymore.
