I was a useless, NEET otaku.
My brother was fed up with me and thrown me out.
I walked on the streets.
It was raining...
What should I do...
No matter where I go, I'll be discriminated.
I guess it's no different than dying...

I was hitten by a car.

He ran away.
There's a lot of blood came out from my body.

I looked around.
It was a cave of some sorts.
I tried to move.
But I can't feel my legs.
Now that I realise, there's a lot of blue slimy balls around me.

"Oh, welcome, newbies."(???)

I looked at where the voice came from.
It....
It was a goblin!
But somehow really tall.

"I'm Gofu(ゴーフ). A hobglobin. Welcome to the labyrinth."(Gofu)

Labyrinth?
And did he say he's a hobglobin?
Hobglobins are advanced goblins who is a lot like human, but with green skin.
Where is this place....

"I hope you slimes will get used to here."(Gofu)

Slimes!?
You mean the blue balls around me?
Wait....
I try to feel my body...
Round.
Soft.
Slimy.
I'm a slime!!?
How did this happened?
Did I got reincarnated into a slime!?
And why did I got reincarnated into a slime!?
It's on the bottom of the food chain!

"Well, listen to my explanation. You guys were born just now so you must have a lot of questions."(Gofu)
"Every monsters start as a slime in this world. Then, we will try to gain level to evolve ourselves. We also can't choose what we evolved into. It depends on your personality and fighting style."(Gofu)

Now this is something.
So, slimes are just monster eggs.

"You can see your menu if you want it to appear, try it."(Gofu)

So, it's like a game?
I tried to make the menu appear.

I guess that's my name in this world.

"Well, to level up, you need to beat any adventurer who come to challenge the dungeon. If an adventurer dies in the dungeon, he/she will be teleported outside. All the monsters will get EXP for each death. Although if you're the one defeat them, you'll gain 2x the exp. Also, we also will not die from this labyrinth. As monsters in this dungeon, we will get respawn after we die."(Gofu)

Thank goodness..
I don't want to die yet...
As a slime, the death rate is almost 100%.

Then, Gofu continued explaining.
To learn a skill, you need to create it yourself.
Once you realise you can do it, it will get registered into a skill.
Of course you can get skills by eating things such as adventurer's corpses or rare materials.
Title is kind of like passive skills, each title has some kind of effect.
Also, it seems like Gofu has no Otherworlder title.
Looks like I'm the only one who is originally a human.
Then, he explains how this dungeon is not overflowing with monsters although monsters can't die.
As a monster, you can always leave this dungeon to see the world.
Of course, adventurers will kill you because you're a monster.
Normally, a monster will leave their dungeon when they are fully prepared.
Currently this labyrinth has only 1 boss room.
That means this labyrinth has only 1 boss.
Boss can roam freely but they will get teleported if they went too near with an adventurer outside the boss room or an adventurer is near the boss room so they can fight.
Once a boss leave the dungeon, the dungeon will appoint the next strongest monster as the boss.
Currently, our boss is an Ogre.
The next evolution of a hobglobin.

"Lastly, let me teach you a skill. Every monster has mana. Try to convert that mana into thoughts."(Gofu)

I focused deep inside me...

"I can talk now!"(Rezev)
"Oh, it seems we have a quick learner."(Gofu)

"You're welcome."(Gofu)
"Good luck to all of you."(Gofu)

Then, he left.
I'm really grateful to him since he taught a lot of things.
I tried to move around.
Looks like I can move, but really slow.
So I have a better solution.

*Boing*

I jumped.
I can leap very far because slime is quite elastic.
This is a better way to move.
Then, I accidentally hit the wall.
Ouch....

Skill learned: <Body Slam>

I learned a new skill!
I guess it's worth the pain.
Looks like an attack skill.
I'll try it later.

"Umm... Hello?"(???)

There's 4 slimes approaching
By the voices, there's 3 male and 1 female.

"Hi, I'm Rezev. What are your names?"(Rezev)
"I'm Nobu(ノブ)."(Nobu)
"I'm Ryuu(リュウ)."(Ryuu)
"I'm Kotsu(コツ)."(Kotsu)
"I'm Lilim(リリム)."(Lilim)

Why are there Japanese names and I didn't get one...

"Nice to meet you all."(Rezev)
"What were you doing?"(Nobu)
"Just trying to jump. We can move more quickly and we can learn a new skill too."(Rezev)
"Really?"(Lilim)

They tried to jump.
After a while, they got used to it.

"Thanks for teaching us."(Lilim)
"You guys want to take a look around with me?"(Rezev)
"Sure."(All)

We took a look around our new home.
There's a lot of types of monsters here.
Goblins, Orcs, Imps, Spiders, Snakes, Kobolds, Wolves, Bats, Horses and a lot more.

Looks like a new life is ahead of me.
