My boss is my mate which makes me Luna?

We went to the air port and I was given a cup of coffee.
"Drink up my dear. I heard that warm drinks help with the pain."
"Thanks."
I took it and drank. It tasted really good.

"It's so warm."
I was held and I finished my drink. "I think your parents are here."
"Me too."
I stood up and my mother ran over to me.

"Momma."
"Honey!"
She held me and cried. I had cried myself dry.

"Come on ladies."

I relaxed and said nothing. We left.

~~~~>"Hey princess."

I relaxed and said "Will."
I hugged him and said "What's up?"
"Not much. I miss your sister."
I flinched and looked at him.

"She was your mate wasn't she?"
"Yeah."
I nodded.

"It's all my fault. She came down here to check on me because she was worried about me."

"This isn't your fault."
"Yes it is."
I was taken to my mothers room.

Alexander

"I think it's about time that we start out a search party."
"Me too. My daughter and wife are upstairs trying to control themselves."
"Willana is convenced that this is her fault. The rouges were there for her. Care to explain why?"
"I can't."
"With all due respect I have to know. It's putting my pack and most importantly my mate on the line. You have to know something."
"I know everything but I can't say anything. I'm sorry."
"Come on. We're ready to find these rouges and give them a piece of my mind."
"Very well then. Let's go."
I was the first one out. I had to find out who was after my mate because it was in the best intrest that I don't go crazy. Everyone knew this. As alpha I had to be level headed but without my luna my mate...I was nothing.

(Three hours later)

'Did we find anything?'

'Nothing. It's like these mutts covered their scents.'

'How?'

'It's unheard of. So I have no clue.'

'Just great. Our mate has some how found enough water in her system to cry an entire lake. We have to distract her as much as we can.'

I knew we did but that's besides the point. I ran upstairs and heard "Momma?"
"Yes honey?"
"Did she really name me her beta?"
"Yeah. She did."
"I can't be the next alpha momma. I just can't."
"You'll have Alexander to help you."
"That's another thing. I'm not even sure how this is going to work. Our packs are six states apart. I can't uproot the pack and move them here but then his whole life is here."
"Honey...I promise it's okay."
I smiled as she said "Okay momma."
I knocked.

"Speaking of mates. Alexander you're more then welcome to come join us."
"Okay."
I walked in.

"Who's up for some paintball?"

"Paintball? At a time like this?"
"Yes."
"I'm in."
"Sure why not."
"Your pack against my pack."
"Oh babe. You're forgeting something."
"Like?"
"This is your pack too."
"Not until we mate. We haven't even full blown mated yet. Come on."
We left.

(Paintball rocks!)

I geared up and smirked at Alexander when he saw how well I did for myself. He was pouting a bit.

"What's wrong babe?"

"I wanted to help you gear up."
I pouted too and said "Well...you can help me unstrap later."
"You mean that?"
"Yes."
"Wonderful."
He leaned into kissed me but heard "Nope! We need our alpha's focused!"
It was my turn to pout.

"Why?!"
"Because this is war!"
I laughed and the bell dinged. I dogged the blue paintball and ducked behind a wall.

"I'm out!"
I looked straight forword and up.

"Wonderful."

'Let's move.'

I moved fast.

"What are you doing?!"
"Going straight for the kill."
"Damn it! What are you talking about?!"
"I'm the paintball ninja!"
"I forgot about that."
I dogged paintballs and hit the oppsosing team.

"I win."
"Not so fast my sweet."
I turned around and smiled.

"Now you won't really shoot your mate would you?"
"I'm a normal cercumstance no. But seeing as though it's only me and you left in this battle of wills I think I'll-."
I shot him with my yellow paint ball and said "My team wins round one."
I heard chuckling and "The paintball champion has returned."
"How-?"
"Well have you ever heard of the paintball olympics?"
"Yes."
"Well the funny thing about that is...I have been champion for the last five years in a row."
I smirked and kissed his lips.

"See you at round two."

I skipped back to my team and they were giving me high fives.

'We showed him.'

'Yes we did. But now he has a target.'

I smiled and round to started. I started hitting people with paint and it was a blast.

"Having fun."
"Yeah."
I was shot in the butt.

"Hey!"
"You got the paint ball ninja!"
"Dude...your winning streak has ended."
"It was good while it lasted."
I smiled and said "I'm actually really tired now."
"Same here. We have to get some rest. We go home and get ready to welcome you as our Luna tomrrow."
"Tomrrow? Not even before we burry my sister."
"Oh yeah. That's what's tomrrow."
I nodded and Alexander came and helped unstraped me. 

"Sorry about beating you back there. I love you."
"I love you too."
I was comfterble enough to undress in front of Alexander.

"Ouch."
"What?"
"You have a bruise on you butt."
"No one said paint ball was nice."
I felt him run his thumb over it and I said "Hello."
"Turned on?"
"Nope."
Alexander smirked and kissed my neck.
"You are. I smell it."
I blushed and said "No fair."
He chuckled and said "It so is fair. If it helps any...I feel the same way."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Um...okay."
I smiled and said nothing. I was actually very happy. Happy that Alexander took my mind off of my sister dying in my arms the day before. But I knew it wouldn't last. As soon as we hit the pack house everything would come hit me and weigh me down again. I didn't like it.
