Strawberry and You (Ichigo X Reader)

5. Ichigo, soul reaper

Here is chapter 5. I hope you all enjoy just as much as I enjoy writing.

Two months have gone by since you enrolled in Karakura High, and you become close friends with each of them. Lately, you've noticed that Ichigo and his friends expect Mizuiro and Keigo tend to leave randomly, which leaves you three wondering about what is going on. 

One day, you were walking down the street and you felt the ground shake then you hear a roar becoming from a few blocks down. You ignore it and carry on walking, all of a sudden you see Ichigo, Rukia, Orihime, Chad and Uryu run down the street, both Rukia and Ichigo were in soul reaper form. You decided to follow them you hid behind a wall and see Ichigo charging towards a large hollow. Your eyes open wide as you watch, then you notice the hollow look at you then smirks "I've seen a tasty soul to eat," The hollow says. You quickly hide before Ichigo and the others turn around, you begin to run in the shadows. 

You feel something following you, so you turn around to see the hollow following you laughing. You notice Ichigo then hide from him, you watch him slash at the hollow. You calm yourself and walk out then you pretend you don't see Ichigo or Rukia, you look up to see Orihime, Chad and Uryu "hey guys, what's up?" You say then look at the time, "oh sorry guys, I have to go," you wave and walk on putting hands in your pockets looking forward.

Soon, you reach your house and walk inside then lock the door behind you. "I'm home," you say and head up to your bedroom, put your earphones in and play music full blast. You look through songs the play, then you lay down listening to (f/s) and you slowly close your eyes. You notice your door open, you sit up to see no one there and then Kon jumps on your bed. You make yourself look shocked and you kick him off your bed, "what on earth are you?!" You pick it up, "never enter a girls room without permission," you open the window and throw him out then lock your window and lay back down.

"That wasn't very nice..." Kon says and walks down the street heading back to Ichigo's place. 

You go back to listening to music, you look through an app on your phone and find a book then you begin to read the book. You have never known why but reading books always helped you forget things, but not this time. What you saw with Ichigo keeps playing in your mind and it soon made you feel uneasy, you place your phone down and wrap your arms around you then you curl up into a ball closing your eyes. Your mind keeps replaying the sight you saw, you know that it wouldn't be right if you confronted Ichigo about what you saw. Due to your eyes being closed you slowly ended up falling asleep.

You wake a couple of hours later, with you music still playing, you stop the music and see what time it is, 5pm. You sit up slowly, "wow I slept for a long while," you get off your bed and head downstairs, "dad?" You go into the living to see no one there, you walk into the kitchen to see your father cooking then you smile, "what you cooking?"

"Pasta bake," He says and keeps cooking, "can you set the table?" He asks and you nod then you begin to set the table.

"What do you want to drink?" You ask 

"Beer please sweetie," He replies

"Okay," You poor him a beer and places it on the table then you make a cup of coffee for yourself and set that on the table. You pull out a seat then sits down and wait for the food. You see a plate with your share on, on the table and you watch your father sit down in front of you. You both begin to eat your dinner in silence. You notice that while you're eating time goes by so slowly, though you eventually finish your dinner and your cup of coffee. "I'm going back to my room," you say as you stand up and head back up into your room then you freeze when you see Ichigo on your bed still in his soul reaper form, "I...Ichigo..."

"So, I guessed right," He says and stands up, "You can see me which means that hollow was chasing you." He walks to you and looks down to you, "just what are you?"

You look at him, "I can just see ghosts and those monster," you tell him and walk past him to see his sword on your bed, "please move that."

"Oh, sure." Ichigo walks and picks it up then lays it against the wall and you sit on your bed looking at him.

"What are you doing here?" You ask voice becoming annoyed

"I just wanted to see if I was right and I was," he replies and picks up his sword then places it on his back, then jumps onto the window, "Well I'll be seeing you later, at school tomorrow, bye (y/n)" He adds then jumps out the window. You watch him and move to the window to see that he has disappeared.

"Ichigo..." You say to yourself as you shut your window then you stare into space.

Hours go by and you're still staring into space, you snap out of it when you become tired. You quickly change into your pj's and get into bed, soon you notice that now your in bed you won't sleep. Let out a sigh, then reach over to your book shelf and pick a book, you get back into bed and open the book to the front page then begin to read. 

After two chapters you feel like you need to sleep, you place the book on your bedside cabinet then you lay down properly. You close your eyes slowly then fall asleep.
