Realizing too late that it was not a game."
The beggar was dragged off the streets, pulled away from the large crowd that had formed.
"What are you playing at," his captor said as he shook the cloaked figure angrily. Peering over their hood with a red glint in their maniacal eyes, the beggar gave a silent smile and tired laugh, and responded:
"Unfolds a tale from a thousand years ago; the lost King, the fortunate Jack, the exiled Joker, the pain of a Queen."
And with a raspy laugh, disintegrated into the wind leaving nothing but scattering feathers that sickeningly clung to the skin.
