I DREAM OF MY LIFE

As I lay here in the night I dream

I dream about the past

The hard aching horrific long past

As I remember myself as a shrimp

I was weak but now I am stronger

The bloody tears rolled down my face

As I faced the hard obstacles

As I felt the fire crumble my heart it felt as if I were going to die

My heart weakens and my legs began to shake

I feel as I am going to faint

I dreamed I was high in the sky, I was as high as a bird

But I was still blinded by the pain I went thru

As I lay and dream the thunder clapped angrily in the distance

I then snapped back into reality

I realized how strong I am

I am as strong as a lion

My heart still aches but

The obstacles are becoming easier I face them throughout life

Now I see how the flowers waltzed in the gentle breeze

As my life passes by

I realized life is like a roller coaster

I finally awoke but I am happy as ever

My life may be hard but this is my life

I am happy to be me.
