i always felt bad for you but the most impact that had on me was when you were going to the bathroom but the boys wouldn't let you in, urging you to go to the girls' bathroom instead.
because as they stated loud infront of the whole school "that's where you belong." i really wanted to say something but i was a coward.
everything got worse later.
they would beat you up and the teachers would act oblivious. they would call you names telling you to lift up your skirt though you weren't wearing one.
the lunch lady felt pity for you,i could see it in her eyes when students in the cafeteria started protesting.
"you can't eat with us" "what if he turns us too" "go back to where you cam from, weirdo" and many other hurtful words were hurled at you.
you ran away and i found you sobbing in the park near our school. this time i came towards you and gave you a lollipop that i had. it was something that always managed to put a smile on my face.
however, when i extended it towards you, you flinched like i was about to hit you and that cracked my heart from how vulnerable you were.
when you saw what i was giving you, you accepted it and you actually smiled.
