There he was, getting up and starting to walk towards you.
The boy with the stunning hazel eyes and dark brown hair, staring at you as he got nearer and nearer.
I think I'm having palpitations, you thought to yourself.
As soon as you snapped out of your thoughts, a glorious face appeared in front of you [No,you were not standing in front of a mirror].
Jacob spoke,"So Y/N, want to come over for the project today?"
Don't make a fool out of yourself,do not make a fool out of yourself!
"I-I can't.."
He cocked up an eyebrow.
"Why not?"
"Um..I-I need to help my mum uh..water the cactus'!"
I blurted out.
Right there and then, I gave myself the biggest mental facepalm the universe has ever seen.
"Um..ok then, another time?"
He said, trying to cover up his uncertain tone.
"Yeah um..Bye Jacob."
I looked down and hurriedly sped away.
So much for a first impression.
